Antalya Perge & Aspendos Full-Day Small Group Experience

A fantastic trip! The tour guide was enthusiastic, attentive, humorous, and shared many fun facts about Antalya along the way. At each attraction, they explained the stories behind the historical sites. My favorite was the ancient city of Perge. It's vast in scale, second only to Ephesus, and the ruins are relatively well-preserved. We walked through the gates, bathhouses, arena, and central square from the Greek to Roman periods. Standing on the small hill at the end of the east gate, overlooking the entire ruins, I imagined how grand and magnificent this city must have been at its peak, with buildings adorned with white marble and stone columns soaring into the sky, shimmering in the sunlight. For lunch, there were three choices: fish, beef, and chicken. The grilled fish was pretty good, and the restaurant included complimentary local Antalya oranges, which were sweet and juicy. We started our return journey at 3 pm. A small suggestion: it would be better to have more free time in Side, as we only had time to see the temple, and there wasn't enough time to explore many of the other historical sites.

Fatima is a great and experienced guide. She has a way to illustrate history in a lively, attractive manner. She would make use of modern examples as well to help you better understand the concepts. I am not a history person but I am drawn to her storytelling. Time management wise, she arranged the itinerary so that we could avoid traffic and finish our tour on time. Time allocated to each site is reasonable. An intro of the history, some info on the technology used, followed by individual exploration and photo-taking time. One slight suggestion is that more time can be allocated to Aspendos Theatre. We spent like 55mins at Side, which is nice. It allowed you to have time to sit down and enjoy a glass of pomegranate beer. But we only had 20mins at Aspendos. Would be perfect if have a little bit more time to explore there.

Trust me, this trip was absolutely fantastic. We set off at 8 am, visiting Panergay, Aspendos, the ancient city of Sida, and the waterfalls, before returning to Antalya around 5 pm. Our guide, Fatima Tunc Altin, was the friendliest guide I've ever met. She had an excellent grasp of the itinerary, always considerate of everyone's feelings, and fluently recounted the history of the ancient city. You'd be incredibly lucky to meet her.

Visiting the ancient ruins in Antalya on my own seemed daunting, but this tour made it easy and provided helpful explanations. The small group size was a plus, and I especially appreciated that there were no uncomfortable shopping center stops, just a clean and focused tour. In particular, our guide Fatima was enthusiastic and led the tour in a way that made it a truly enriching and informative experience. It was the first thing I did upon arriving in Turkey, and it was an excellent start. The transportation was also excellent, and I wish I had known there were USB ports at each seat so I could have brought a cable. Anyway, I highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful tour experience! We effortlessly explored stunning historical buildings and scenery. The knowledgeable and charming tour guide provided a wealth of cultural insights. Even when the vehicle encountered an air conditioning issue, the driver quickly resolved it. Highly recommend this tour!

Our time in Antalya was limited, so this small group day tour was absolutely worth it. It was a very efficient way to visit several amazing places in one day. My favorite was Perge Ancient City, which was truly impressive. Fatima was an excellent guide, professional, knowledgeable, and very experienced. Her explanations were clear, interesting, and full of valuable information. She was also kind, warm, and attentive, always caring about every guest’s experience. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would definitely recommend it, especially with Fatima, to friends visiting Antalya.

It was a very organized tour with our guide Fathima. she had explained each and every details and was a good entertainer through out the day. Food was average not a buffet. But it is worrh visiting these places with a guide.

the Itinerary is unreal. Must visit locations while in Antalya. our guide was KHAN and he was all you could ask for a guide. He taught us about the history in a very fun and interactive way. Always smiling and happy throughout. Sadly on the day government officials were blocking the entrance to Manavgat falls and we missed out :(
