Reviews summaryOur guide Alberto from Extranomical Tours is such a legend! The bus has USB ports where you can recharge your phone. Just make sure to bring your own cords or adapters. We were lucky enough to see the sequoia trees! Overall, highly recommended and kudos to Extranomical Tours
I really enjoyed the trip! Our driver and tour guide, Andy, was really nice, cheerful and patient. He is also very knowledgeable. He explained a lot, not just about Yosemite, but also the history and the ecological system. The view was fantastic and I had a really great time as a solo traveler
Yosemite in September boasts crisp autumn weather, perfect for strolling. However, the majestic waterfalls of spring and summer are merely a shadow of their former selves by autumn, though this does not detract from the national park's magnificent grandeur. This tour departs from the Marriott Hotel in the morning, with a stop at a rest area where you can purchase breakfast and lunch at the supermarket, Wendy's, or KFC (there's also a restaurant at the visitor center). Along the way, the driver enthusiastically narrates the history and stories of San Francisco and Yosemite. Upon reaching photo spots, the driver will slow down or allow everyone to disembark. Dinner will be at the same rest stop on the return journey. Overall, the tour is packed with fun, and the driver is enthusiastic, but the price is a bit expensive, with no other major flaws.
Once you sign up the local team will contact you, really appreciate the quick respond to all my questions about pick up location/time.Our tour guide/driver Rob made this trip so great, he provided information/history about San Francisco & Yosemite. I can feel his passion for these places, and take things serious about this tour.Thumbs up for this tour and will definitely be back when the day is longer!
This guided tour trip was definitely worth it! It's friendly for folks who aren't ready for intense hiking too. The stops were carefully thought of... from food stops to sight seeing stops. Kudos to our driver who was very informative and considerate as well.
A wonderful Yosemite National Park experience, perfect for visitors who prefer minimal walking while still enjoying breathtaking scenic views and photography spots.
awesome guide + drivers. passionate about America and yosemite Valley. we were the first batch to cover Sequoias. we did tracking in ice and driver rob inspired us to accompanied it. Thanks rob.
Lovely trip! Our tour guide Frankie was very friendly and explained everything clearly, making the journey enjoyable and informative. An honest suggestion — please don’t rush through breakfast or dinner times. Since we travel as a group, it naturally takes a bit longer to complete bill payments and finish meals. Allowing a little extra time would make the overall experience even smoother.
The tour stretched from 5.50am to a little past 11pm because of some hiccups.... but what impressed me was our guide because he left no one behind. His priority was his customers and safety and because of that, we had peace of mind travelling with him. Despite losing time over locating customers, Keith did not shortchange us and still took us to all the sights listed in the itinerary and gave us the allocated time to complete our self-guided hike on the lower Yosemite valley trail. Some participants even had time to go for a dip in the river Mercad. Despite the different segments of the itinerary being pushed back, Keith still drove safely, especially when we were going downhill on a steep and winding road. We had a late dinner (grab and go to eat on the bus) but it was understandable. Keith is truly a gem...patient, responsible and not a word of blame on anyone but always apologising. He's funny too. We were blessed to have him on this tour to Yosemite.
this tour is amazing! tour guide Rob did a very good job! i love yosemite, lovely view! u should join this tour and experience it yourself
