- 【Important Notice】When boarding the icebreaker "Garinko GO Ⅲ・IMERU," you will need to provide your passport number. Please be sure to bring your passport with you on the day or make a note of your passport number in advance. Staff will ask you for your passport number on the day. Please note that you will not be able to board the ship if you cannot provide your passport number.
- As drift ice is a natural phenomenon, the viewing time is difficult to predict and cannot be guaranteed. It is usually more common from late January to early March. Drift ice viewing may be affected by weather or landing conditions and may not be possible. Thank you for your understanding.
- If the number of participants for the English or Chinese plan is less than 10, the service will be provided through an app. Please understand and agree to this before participating.
- A friendly reminder that traffic jams are common on weekends and holidays. Japanese law stipulates that bus drivers' working hours cannot be exceeded. Therefore, the length of stay at attractions may be adjusted appropriately depending on the road conditions on the day. Thank you for your understanding.
- Infants (0-2 years old) are required to pay a fee and will be provided with a seat. Participation while sitting on a companion's lap is not permitted.
- This product does not include lunch. Please eat on the bus. Please bring your own lunch box in advance or purchase one at the Sunagawa Service Area.
- Bus arrival may be delayed due to road conditions. Please note that no guarantees are provided in the event of the termination of transportation facilities. In this case, the cancellation fee for canceling the trip on the day will not be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.
- Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic and weather, resulting in the cancellation of some attractions. Thank you for your understanding.
- Some attractions may be adjusted or the tour may end early due to national holidays or temporary closures or restrictions on visiting hours due to special circumstances at the attraction. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- In the event of bad weather conditions such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision will be made the day before departure (local time 18:00) as to whether or not to cancel the tour. You will then be notified by email.
- If you are participating while traveling in Hokkaido/Sapporo, please avoid participating on the last day of your trip. (Bus delays will not be compensated).
- If the icebreaker is canceled due to weather or other reasons: Adults will be refunded 5,000 yen / children 4,000 yen, and an alternative visit to the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center “Giza” will be arranged.
- If it is not possible to go to Mombetsu due to road conditions: Adults will be refunded 5,000 yen / children 4,000 yen, and an alternative visit to the Ice Pavilion will be arranged.
