More about Paris Loire Valley One-Day Small Group Historical Tour

If you’re going to visit the magnificent country of France, especially Paris, then you might want to know that one of the best things that you can do is to visit the picturesque Loire Valley region and visit the beautiful castles that call it home. Go on a day tour from City of Lights to the valley and get to explore the top three of the most popular castles there! The first of these castles is Château de Chambord, the largest of the Loire castles; it’s known for its marvelous and distinct French Renaissance architecture. The second is Chateau d’Amboise, where the famous jack of all trades, Leonardo da Vinci, is buried. This castle offers breathtaking views of the valley and town below it, so make sure to bring your camera so you can take wonderful snapshots of the landscape. After that, your tour guide will take you on a lovely stroll through the tiny winding streets of a nearby medieval town. He’ll also take you to a special area that can only be accessed by foot. Once you arrive there, you’ll be given some free time to pick and dine (at your own cost) inside one of the cafés, bistros, and bakeries for lunch. Once you’re done having a hearty meal, you’ll continue the last leg of the tour and visit the Château de Chenonceau where notable French noblewomen like Catherine de’ Medici and Louise Dupin lived. There, you’ll have the opportunity to stroll around its gorgeous gardens and revel in its tranquil atmosphere. To cap off the tour, you’ll taste three incredible flavors of authentic Loire Valley wine before boarding the mini-bus back to Paris. This tour is definitely a must for those who want to see what lies beyond Paris and for those who are interested in the history of French royalty
