Ayung Rafting with Bali Sobek

It was truly so much fun. I feel like it's a must-do experience if you come to Bali. Honestly, I thought it might be a bit difficult since I have a child, so I was originally going to choose Mason, but I ended up booking here instead. The start time didn't differ much from Mason's, and we got to ride for longer! While I saw many other tours stopping at strange places for breaks, we rested at the very best spot. The price difference compared to Mason was huge, and I am truly, super-duper satisfied. I was really worried about the shower facilities, but they were so clean. The showers were my biggest concern, so I had planned to just rinse off roughly, and I regretted not bringing anything with me ;; Since there are no pictures of the place here, I'm uploading a photo of the shower room!!!

After checking out of the Bali Beach Hotel, we took an 8-hour guided car tour to experience Sobek Ayung River Rafting. Our reservation was for 1:30 PM, and we naturally assumed we would go directly to the starting point. However, we first went to the endpoint, and then, with our rafting guide, proceeded to the starting point. We were a bit surprised at first, but the clear instructions helped us proceed without any issues. Best of all, we were the only family booked for 1:30 PM, so my two sons, aged 9 and 13, and I (their mother) had a boat all to ourselves, allowing us to enjoy the experience at our leisure. We had a truly wonderful time admiring the beautiful scenery of the Ayung River. Our veteran guide led us safely and expertly, so we felt completely at ease enjoying the rafting with our children. The shower facilities after rafting were clean, and the meal was delicious. We made truly great memories with my 9-year-old and 13-year-old children. Thank you to Sobek and our guide for providing us with such a safe and enjoyable rafting experience!

While the price is a bit high, I believe they prioritize safety. I've used another company before, but Sobek's lunch and rest areas were cleaner and more comfortable. It would be perfect if the price were a little lower. You can see Ubud's luxury hotels from the river. The lunch taste is average.

We had a wonderful experience! Everything was well organized and the instructor was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The whole activity felt safe and enjoyable, and our family had a great time together. Highly recommended, especially for families with children. We would definitely do it again!

The itinerary includes hotel pickup, with four people per vehicle on the day. The activity instructor's explanation was clear, and the rafting wasn't too intense, making it suitable for beginners.

A must do! A fun way to see some of Bali's jungle and to meet some new friends. A quick stop halfway for a refreshing beer tops off a great experience. Really fun!

We need to go down a long staircase first, and then climb a long staircase after rafting. It is recommended to have an elder traveler pay attention !! In addition, we will stop at a sales station midway, the sales are super expensive, and we are asked to buy drinks for the coach , It feels very bad !! Be sure to bring your own water, it is not recommended to buy.
