Reviews
The communication before the pick up was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided lots of historical information along the way. I learned so much and has such a wonderful experience. Also, the driver was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this tour as it was a good value and very personalized to our needs.
I highly recommend klook’s itinerary this time! Our tour guide this time was Rudra and driver Kamal. The tour guide was very attentive and would call me the day before to confirm the time and place to meet! Since the weather in India is very hot in May, it is basically impossible to go on the afternoon trip, so we started the trip earlier than 7 o'clock, and the tour guide and driver were very willing to cooperate. The tour guide spoke very good English without a heavy accent, and had a wealth of historical knowledge about various attractions. This allowed us to have a better understanding of the local customs and culture on our first day in Varanasi! That day, the air conditioner in the car suddenly broke down. It was so hot that we said we had no plans to go back to the hotel. The tour guide was very cooperative and waited until dusk to continue watching the Ganges River and the night festival. It is highly recommended for those who have just arrived in Varanasi. Join a private tour first!
It is strongly recommended to buy this itinerary when you come to Varanasi. Having a tour guide will make the journey much smoother, at least avoid being harassed on the road. Pick us up at the hotel in the morning, take us to visit many Buddhist temples by car, and return to the hotel at noon to rest until 5:00 before departure (the reason is that it is very hot in the afternoon and it is not suitable for walking outside, I completely agree). The way in the afternoon is to use the way of reading to guide the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi, shuttling between the alleys where the locals only walk, and finally to the two main attractions: Manikarnika Ghat (seeing the burning corpse) and Dasaswa Meiduo river altar (see the night festival). On that day, the water level of the Ganges River was high, and all ships were prohibited from sailing, so the boat trip was cancelled. Bharat is a great and conscientious tour guide!
The day trip to Varanasi was incredible. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city, he took me to all best spots, likes the Ganges river aarti and local himdu temple, especially loved local Msala tea shop, it's very good taste.I'll definetely be.coming back for a longer visit
We are two 26-year-old Japanese women. This is a really great tour. A driver and tour guide take you around the tourist spots. We went to temples and museums, and then to the Ganges River. The tour guides for the temples, museums, and Ganges River were different people. The driver was with us the whole time. All the memories of our trip to India were wonderful, but the kindness of this tour guide is what I remember most. 🌟Recommended points🌟 → I felt relieved when they met us at Varanasi Airport with a sign. I felt safe that we would arrive at the hotel safely (it's difficult to get to hotels near the Ganges River because cars can't pass). They don't try to scam you. They try to understand even broken English. ⚠️If I had to say something negative⚠️ → They recommend a Ganges River boat ride. A private boat or a shared boat. They really push the private boat. (In the end, they told us to choose whichever makes us happy.) Since it was just the two of us splitting the cost of the boat, it was expensive, so we took a shared boat, but if there were more people going together, a private boat might have been better. I just wanted to see the atmosphere, so I took a shared boat. I'm sorry for my clumsy writing. I sound like a shill, but please, enjoy Varanasi on this tour! ❤️
The driver arrived on time to pick us up, and the tour guide gave a detailed explanation. Due to the Ganges Festival in the evening, we had to return to the hotel for a short rest during the entire trip. Later, they helped us buy cheap boat tickets, giving us the opportunity to cruise the Ganges at night. They really worked very hard!
The staff is very punctual!major, and Very considerate
The guide is well taken care of, clean and very polite. Take care of safety and provide various knowledge especially Hindu rituals Reserve a seat for viewing the fire worship at a good location. This trip is very suitable for foreigners.
Our guide has been super friendly and helpful. Overall a great trip
The tour guide was very courteous and kind. It wasn't a so-called shared tour, so I was able to relax comfortably in the car. I recommend it because they efficiently guide you to places that are difficult to reach on your own. They also took me to a hand-weaving shop with demonstrations. I didn't buy anything because I didn't want anything (and they didn't seem to mind), but the products themselves were very good, so it might be a recommended shop especially for women. The prices are also reasonable, so I recommend it.
