Pre-departure Notice

We will contact you via the contact information you provided between 17:00 and 21:00 the day before departure. If you do not receive the information, please check your email. Emails may sometimes mistakenly go to the junk box. During peak tourist season, email delivery may be slightly delayed. If you receive multiple emails, please refer to the latest one. If you do not receive travel information on the day of travel, please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes in advance at the scheduled meeting time and look for the JRT tour guide flag to inquire. [Note] August 9-August 17, 2025 is a Japanese holiday. (June 19//August 21/September 18/October 16/November 20) On the third Thursday of each month in 2026, the small train will not run, and we will go to Takachiho Shrine instead.

December 30-January 3 is Japanese New Year, we will go to Takachiho Shrine (not to Dazaifu, not to the small train). **

• The journey to Takachiho is long, so you can bring some snacks. The valley requires walking, so please wear comfortable shoes.

• If the number of participants does not reach the minimum group size, you will be notified of cancellation by email the day before departure. In the event of extreme weather such as typhoons or heavy snow, we will confirm whether to cancel by 18:00 local time the day before departure and notify you by email. Seats and Vehicles • The tour is a group tour, and seat allocation follows the principle of first come, first served. If you have any special needs, please make a note, and we will do our best to arrange it, but the final arrangement will be based on the actual situation on site. • The type of vehicle used depends on the number of people, and the type of vehicle cannot be specified. When there are few people, a driver may be arranged as an attendant, and the explanation may be brief. • If you need to bring luggage, you must inform us in advance. If you bring luggage without authorization, the tour guide has the right to refuse boarding and the fee will not be refunded. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the car. If damage is caused, compensation will be required according to local standards. Itinerary Adjustment and Safety • Japanese law stipulates that operating vehicles must not be driven for more than 10 hours per day. If the time is exceeded, additional fees will be incurred (5,000–10,000 yen/hour). • The itinerary is for reference only. Actual traffic, stay and tour time may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, etc. The tour guide may reasonably replace or reduce attractions depending on the actual situation. • If cable cars, cruise ships and other facilities are suspended due to weather or force majeure, they will be changed to other attractions or the stay time will be adjusted. • No refunds will be given for lateness, temporary changes to the meeting location, or leaving the group midway due to personal reasons. Any accidents and additional expenses incurred after leaving the group shall be borne by yourself. Season and Landscape • The visibility of Mount Fuji is greatly affected by the weather, especially in summer when the visibility is low. It is recommended to confirm the weather information before booking. • Seasonal limited events such as flower viewing, autumn leaves viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks festivals are greatly affected by the climate, and the flowering period and peak of autumn leaves may be advanced or delayed. Even if the expected landscape is not reached, the itinerary will still depart normally and no refunds will be given.

Other Information • Please arrive at the meeting point on time. If you are late, you will not be allowed to join the tour, and you will not be able to join the tour midway. • It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. Please bring your own warm clothing for winter or mountain trips.

* The itinerary does not include personal travel and accident insurance. It is recommended to purchase your own insurance. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports have certain risks. Please register carefully according to your health conditions.

* After the itinerary departs, if it is forced to be cancelled due to natural disasters or force majeure, the fee will not be refunded, and passengers will have to bear the return or additional accommodation costs themselves.

* During peak travel periods on Japanese red days and weekends, there are often serious traffic jams or attractions close early. It is recommended not to book flights, Shinkansen or dinners that night, and bring your own light food and power bank.
