2-Day Luxor East and West Bank Private Tour with Transfers

We had an amazing experience on the 2-Day Luxor East and West Bank Private Tour with Transfers. Mohamed was an excellent guide — very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire trip. He made sure we saw all the major sites without feeling rushed and explained the history in a very engaging way. Everything was perfectly organized and punctual from start to finish. The private transportation was very comfortable, and having a private car made the experience relaxing and enjoyable, especially in the Luxor heat. The lunch provided was also delicious and exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care taken to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Luxor and especially recommend Mohamed for making the trip so memorable!

I joined the 2-day tour, and both our guide Mohammed and the driver came to pick us up at the hotel. We visited the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Mohammed carefully explained the history and highlights of each place in detail, which made the experience very enjoyable and informative. He was very kind, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour. At the end of the tour, we had lunch at a restaurant serving traditional Egyptian food. It was delicious and one of the most authentic local meals we had during the trip. The driver also drove safely the entire time, so we could relax and enjoy the experience without any worries. Since all the sites on the West Bank are quite far apart from each other, I think choosing this tour was the best option. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone visiting Luxor!

we had Hamada, big boss of luxor!!! timing was great and the information during the tour he taught us was incredible! it was a great learning experience especially learning from someone who was raised in Luxor! we felt safe the whole time knowing we are in the hands of someone known! Hamada even recommended we changed our second day to evening timing so that we can see the lighting in luxor & Karnak temple more nicer!! we even met his younger brother too on the way (who is very cute btw! 😆😜) highly recommend especially for extroverts and those who are open to experiencing new cultures!!!

I had an absolutely incredible two days in Luxor thanks to our amazing guide Mohamed! Their passion and deep knowledge of Egyptian history truly brought every temple and site to life. I learned so much about the rich stories and fascinating history behind each place we visited. The whole experience was top-notch, well-organized, and truly unforgettable. I couldn't have asked for a better guide—highly recommended to anyone visiting Luxor!

Overall, it was excellent! Although the tour was in English, our guide explained the history of each site we visited, which was very educational. For lunch, they took us to restaurants serving the dishes we wanted to try on both days, and even asked if there were any other places we'd like to visit. The driver was also very kind and even took us to a supermarket before arriving at the hotel, which was reassuring. I highly recommend this tour, even for Japanese travelers!

I am Japanese. I can only speak broken English by stringing words together, but I was personally very satisfied because they used easy-to-understand English and held up a sign with my name on it during the airport transfer. I didn't get lost either. The tour guide didn't show any Asian discrimination (like sneering when realizing we were Asian); instead, he was a cheerful and kind older man. On both days of the tour, you are taken to souvenir shops run by what seemed to be friends or acquaintances, but you can decline to buy anything. The ticket for the Valley of the Kings allows entry into 3 tombs, and we paid extra to enter the tombs of Seti I and Tutankhamun. It was wonderful! The traditional Egyptian restaurant the guide took us to wasn't very good. Overall, I am very satisfied. The tourist sites on the West Bank are closer than I expected, so travelers who don't want a guide might be fine just booking a car transfer through their hotel. I'm not sure if the cost-performance ratio was good or bad, but there was no pressure to give a tip. Of course, I did tip at the end. It was fantastic!

We had an amazing time with Mohamed! He was highly knowledgeable about the history and very patient. The hotel pick up and drop off was extremely helpful. Mohamed let us walk freely without rushing us and took great pictures of us. I would highly recommend taking a tour with him and his team.

Alladin is a great guide. He is thorough, and knowledgeable about the histories and the food places is also pretty nice. The pacing is great and we enjoyed the tour. He also took nice photos for us.

Our guide, Hassan, was incredibly kind. He's a very thoughtful guide who prioritized our convenience when arranging the tour. We had a very productive two days.
