In 2017, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon officially launched the creation of an AAAAA-level scenic area. Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon originally had two names. One was called Rotten Ship Gorge: It originated from Shenquan Creek. The water flow of the entire Grand Canyon and the Southern Red Flag Canal originated from here. Legend has it that many rotten shipboards gushed out of the springs in the past, and the local people could not know where the rotten shipboards came from, so this place was named "Rotten Ship Gorge"; the other name was called Luanquan Gorge: It refers to the two stone walls in the canyon, with many streams and springs, and the canyon is full of flying streams.

It is one of the important attractions in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area. Yuntian Ferry is 536 meters long and 6 meters wide. [5] It is a large valley suspension bridge and is well-known for setting many world records for glass bridges.
Good to know
- In case of extreme weather such as strong winds and heavy rain, the glass bridge may be closed. No refund will be made if it is closed and cannot be used
- Except for wallets and mobile phones with mobile phone cases, no items may be brought onto the bridge
- Those with heart disease, high blood pressure, fear of heights, drunkenness, or other physical conditions that are not suitable for sightseeing, please do not go onto the bridge
- Tourists wearing high heels are not allowed to go onto the bridge; chasing, fighting, throwing objects, and leaning on the railings on the bridge are not allowed to prevent the body from tilting and causing accidents
