Review for: One Way Bus Ticket from Mandalay to Bagan

I remember it was an okay ride, they picked me in my accommodation by some tuktuk, then bring me to the minivan (20ish seats). Once arrived in the Bagan station, there were a lot of taxis that will offer to bring you to your accommodation. I shared a ride with 2 other people and we paid 4.000kyat for around 10km trip. They will also ask you to buy ticket for the Bagan City tourism spots, it cost 25.000kyat per person and you can enter most of the temples legally with it.

Good service. It's a minibus, not super comfortable but not too bad either. It picks all the passengers up at their accommodation, which we didn't now until we asked at our hotel reception about the bus station location.

Literally the worst experience of my life. Expected a proper coach, it was a small van. It was packed full and stopped every 5 minutes to pick up locals who near sat on my knee. Also, everyone else had booked locally and paid less than half of this price!!

The information was confusing, they sent me 2 different addresses, the bus was late and it was a local urban bus rather than a charter

It was a 23 seater bus, which also picks up passengers along the bus stops at the road side. It was slightly uncomfortable as they placed moveable seats on the walking lane to allow passengers to board the bus and sit through the journey. Am unsure if it is their culture. But if you like your personal space, this might not be the option for you

Definitely not the coach shown in the Klook brochure (see photos). It's an old bus, not that clean and cramped. But they got us here and we've had waaaay worse in India.

The bus station is small, not in the bus station in general. So we find it difficult to find a location. The bus is not big, rather narrow.

A disaster. We are given a ticket for a company that is NOT at the Mandalay bus terminal, but a few hundred yards away. Fortunately I had a head start, I spent 1 hour looking before someone was kind enough to pick up the departure of the bus with me by scooter. Arrived on the spot, nobody knows which bus goes where. The given bus timetables are wrong. The trip left at 8:30 am not at 8:00 am for a 4:30 am trip and not 6.
