- Guests participating in the [Boat Tour Experience] should be aware that the boat tour operator may decide whether to open the tour on the day depending on the water level, as May and June are the rainy season in Japan. If the boat tour is cancelled, the boat tour fee of JPY 2,000 per person will be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.
Pre-Departure Notice
We will contact you via the contact information you provided between 17:00 and 21:00 the day before departure. If you do not receive the information, please check your email, including your spam folder. During peak season, there may be a slight delay in sending emails. If you receive multiple emails, please refer to the latest one. If you do not receive the travel information, please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the meeting time on the day of departure and look for the JRT tour guide flag to inquire. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
•If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be notified of the cancellation by email the day before departure. In the event of extreme weather conditions such as typhoons or heavy snow, we will confirm whether to cancel by 18:00 local time the day before departure and notify you by email. Seats and Vehicles •This is a shared tour. Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any special needs, please note them in your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate you, but the final arrangement will depend on the actual situation. •The type of vehicle used depends on the number of people. It is not possible to specify the type of vehicle. When there are few participants, a driver may also serve as an attendant, and the explanation may be brief. •If you need to bring luggage, please inform us in advance. If you bring luggage without prior notice, the tour guide has the right to refuse you to board the vehicle and the fee will not be refunded. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the vehicle. If any damage is caused, compensation will be required according to local standards. Itinerary Adjustments and Safety •Japanese law stipulates that commercial vehicles must not be driven for more than 10 hours per day. If this time is exceeded, additional charges will apply (ranging from JPY 5,000 to JPY 10,000 per hour). •The itinerary is for reference only. Actual traffic, stopover, and tour times may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, etc. The tour guide may reasonably change or reduce attractions depending on the actual situation. •In the event of weather or force majeure causing the suspension of facilities such as cable cars or cruises, the itinerary will be changed to visit other attractions or the duration of stay will be adjusted. •No refunds will be given for late arrivals, changes to meeting points, or leaving the tour midway due to personal reasons. You will be responsible for any accidents and additional costs incurred after leaving the tour. Seasons and Scenery •Visibility of Mount Fuji is greatly affected by the weather, especially in summer when visibility is low. It is recommended to check the weather information before booking. •Seasonal limited events such as flower viewing, autumn foliage viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks displays are greatly affected by the climate. The flowering season and peak of autumn leaves may be earlier or later than expected. Even if the expected scenery is not achieved, the tour will still depart as scheduled and no refunds will be given.
Other Notes •Please arrive at the meeting point on time. We will not wait for latecomers, and it is not possible to join the tour midway. •It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. Please bring warm clothing for winter or mountain tours.
