- Your local captain and driver speak very basic English. Please be patient
- The restaurant at the floating pier is sometimes full, you can bring some snacks in case that happens.
- In the Diamond Cave, there are bats, spiders, and sometimes snakes. If you prefer not to visit, please let us know latest the day before the tour
- Tour schedule might differ due to weather and lake conditions
- There’s an obvious reason Khao Sok’s nature is incredibly green year-round: it is one of the wettest regions of Thailand. Be prepared to get wet! Please bring waterproof bag and jacket in case it rains. The roof of the longtail boat is not not fully covering you for the rain, and in heavy winds the roof cannot be deployed.
- Most rain falls between late April to December. The tour will continue in the rain if conditions are safe.
- Spend 4 hours on the lake of Khao Sok: 1.5 hours on the private boat driving around, 30 minutes in the cave, and the rest of the time on a floating pier stop where you swim and relax.
