All-Inclusive 2-Day White & Black Desert Camping with 4WD & BBQ

This trip was truly excellent value and offered a fantastic experience. First, a van picked up all the tour members from various hotels. We were a small group of seven, all around the same age, which was great, and coincidentally, all of us were Asian. I recommend packing two bags the night before: one for desert clothes and one suitcase. Upon arrival at the lunch spot, you can check your suitcase (to be picked up at the end of the tour). The lunch spot felt a bit like a local's home, serving very authentic Egyptian cuisine, and the lunch was delicious. After lunch, we switched to 4WD vehicles, with four people per car. The first stop was the Black Desert, where we experienced the grandeur of nature. I suggest wearing closed-toe shoes and gloves for climbing rocks, as you'll need to use your hands. The two drivers were excellent; they gave us a thrilling safari experience, speeding across the desert. Since it was only for a few dozen meters, it was exciting yet safe (of course, if you showed excitement, they would continue to accelerate). Our grilled chicken dinner that evening was delicious. I'm not sure how they managed to conjure up fruit, chicken, and rice from limited ingredients, but everything tasted wonderful. During dinner, we even had a special visitor: a cute little fox that came for leftover chicken bones and water, though it was very shy around people. Our guide had a great understanding of the landscape, moonlight, and photography, and took many beautiful photos for us. The sandboarding on the second day was also a lot of fun. There was no limit to how many times you could go, until you felt too tired to carry the board back up the slope to the starting point. Overall, this tour is a must-do when visiting Egypt, and I highly recommend this particular company (although I'm not sure if you can request a specific guide, my guide was named Mohammed – even though I met many Mohammeds during my two-day visit). Travel tips: Bring wet wipes (as a substitute for showering), closed-toe shoes, sandals, and gloves (for climbing). (One bottle of water will be provided at lunch and dinner.)

We had an amazing experience visiting the Black Desert and White Desert with Cool! Everything was well organized from start to finish, and Cool was very friendly, helpful and professional throughout the trip. The desert itself was absolutely breathtaking, especially the White Desert. Seeing the stars and the incredible landscapes in person was truly unforgettable. Cool also made sure we were comfortable and took us to some amazing spots for photos. We really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend Cool to anyone planning to visit the Black Desert and White Desert. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt! ⭐️

They picked us up at the hotel exactly on time. We departed at 7:30 AM and traveled about 4 hours to the desert. After a tour briefing and lunch, we began the desert tour. We toured the desert until 7:00 PM, and after dinner, we enjoyed stargazing, which concluded the first day's tour. On the second day, after breakfast, we had a morning desert tour, and then the tour ended. The food was very plentiful and much more delicious than most restaurants. They also took really beautiful photos for us. I was worried about a desert tour in hot Egypt in July, but thanks to ample water, appropriate breaks, and an excellent guide, it was a perfect tour. Sleeping under countless falling stars with desert foxes was one of the best experiences of my life and I consider it the highlight of the tour. I believe the value of the tour is well worth it just for the experience of sleeping under the stars. This was the best tour, even when compared to all my other trips, not just those in Egypt.

The tour is unique and amazing!! The arrangement went smooth and there’s nothing much we need to worry along the way! The black and white deserts are so beautiful, not things we can easily find somewhere else. The sky is full of stars, the most I’ve ever seen in my life🩷 The set up in the desert is cozy, they provided the tents but we decided to sleep under the sky, a little windy at night but the sleeping bags and blankets are warm enough.

They took us to many places besides the Black and White Deserts! There was some car travel involved, and since you'll be leaving your suitcases behind, we recommend packing a smaller bag with a change of clothes and other essentials. It gets colder than you might expect at night, so please bring warm clothing! All activities and meals were provided, and they even gave us bottled water. There are no restrooms, so please bring your own toilet paper and other necessities!

Amazing experience!!! The camp was in an excellent location!!! We see so many places in the desert and each one were beautiful!!! Black Dessert, Crystal Dessert, White desert (my favorite) !!! The food was delicious and hand made. Our guide and driver Mohamed was excellent and professional!!! I recommend the experience! This is the true desert!

It was great to experience a variety of deserts with just one tour 🏜️ I'll never forget the countless stars I saw at night 🌌 The lunch, dinner, and breakfast were all delicious 🤤 Especially the barbecue I had while camping in the desert for dinner! The tea they serve after the meal was also really good! There's usually no toilet paper in the restrooms at the rest stops we stop at, so you should bring your own 🧻 It's also a good idea to bring snacks to eat for breakfast on the first day! There's a high probability that the air conditioning won't be blasting when you travel by van and change cars at the restaurant. But it's cool if you open the window and drive 💨 It's difficult to wash with water when camping, so I recommend bringing cleansing wipes and wet wipes 🥲 Reeview (Review) tracking was a little slow! They may not be good at English, but it's okay. You can also use Google Translate. I slept very well in the car 😪 There is no separate toilet in the desert, so you just have to go wherever 🤣 This is a tour I would highly recommend 👍

It was an absolutely wonderful experience! The guide was kind and always attentive to our needs. For dinner, they grilled chicken over charcoal, and it was incredibly delicious! We were also very satisfied with the sunset, sunrise, and starry sky views. While the pyramids and temples are undoubtedly amazing, this tour offers a unique opportunity to easily experience Egypt's great nature. Since it departs from Cairo, be sure to join when you come to Egypt. It's worth more than the price!!

The trip is excellent. We white desert is so special and beautiful. The camping spot is awesome. We can see sunset and sunrise there. BBQ dinner is great. The most delicious food I tried in Egypt. Highly recommend this trip.

I went to many historical places in Egypt, but this desert camp was the best memory of this trip! The driver and tour guide, Mohamed, were very hospitable and entertained us. Along the way, we were able to experience various aspects of the desert. Also, at the final destination, the campsite, we were able to see the sunset and the starry sky. I am very satisfied with such a wonderful experience for this price. They prepared everything for us, including lunch, barbecue for dinner, and breakfast, which were all delicious and memorable moments. For your reference, in our case, we had lunch 4 hours after departure, and at that time, the driver handed over to the tour guide, and the vehicle was changed to a 4WD. I think it will be a long drive, so it might be easier to take a break by taking a nap with eye masks or air pillows. Also, we participated in the tour at the end of January, but it gets cold at night, so it's very convenient to have clothes that you can layer or heat packs. We participated in the private tour with 2 people, but they carried our suitcases, so it was very easy to move around! Thank you for the wonderful time!
