Checking out the "Plae Pakaa" Cambodia Living Arts show in Phnom Penh is a must! It's a vibrant showcase of traditional Khmer performing arts, blending dance, music, and theater. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Cambodia through this lively and engaging performance – a unique glimpse into the country's artistic traditions. 🎭🇰🇭
wonderful dance performance depicting gods, demons, giants, animals and villagers! the theatre was not very big but that’s a silver lining because you get a great view of the dancers and can really see the details of every movement. The music is also played by a live band featuring traditional cambodian instruments as well!! after the show, you get to take photos with some of the dancers as well. This show really is a great platform to witness the visual and performing arts of cambodia and supports the local artists as well! highly recommend this activity! wished i had time to go for the dance class
I highly recommend this show as it showcase the traditional dances and beautiful culture of Cambodia. The story line presented was fascinating and easy to follow. The theater was not big but good enough to have a clearer picture of the show. You can clearly see the details and gracefulness of every movement.
Super enjoyable, super engaging! The food was also very yummy, friend’s restaurant for the win.
Lovely show and beautiful costumes. The storyline is easy to follow. The theatre is small so you have an uninstructed view from any seat.
Really engaging show, a feast for the eyes and ears. Costumes and dancers are very good, the ballets and numbers are varied and never boring, ranging from traditional dance to mythology and religious sphere. Highly recommended, also to help this young artists to carry out their project.
the dance was perfect ! everything is good. i would give 5 stars if the staff allow us to choose our own seats. i have booked seat A to get good view, i arrived early thinking that i would be able to choose my own seat and sit at the very center but they have chosen the seats for you ! and i got the 2nd row (which was too near to the stage for me) and at the very end of the seat A (which was not at the center, even seat B has the central seats)
The show was wonderful! You can see the culture of Cambodia in a short period of time, and the semi-open-air venue is also very sensational.
Well-organized show within the small stage just outside the National Museum. I was seated at the back but I was still able to see the show properly. An entertaining way to get to know Cambodia's stories via dance.
A nice cosy show about Cambodian culture. It is a tourist attraction tailored towards tourists but I think it is worth watching. We got B seats but any will give you quite a good view
