My tour of the Historical Baroque House Singapore was truly memorable, thanks in large part to our wonderful host. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, and her passion for the collection was infectious. We were captivated by the stories and insights she shared. The house itself is filled with a rich variety of unique art, and the exceptional hospitality—including the nice food—made the entire visit feel special and personal. This tour is a perfect blend of history, art, and fantastic hospitality.
great host and wonderful tour with food!
Insightful tour through an exciting place. Had fun spotting cool vintage pieces around the house and learning more about the street's history 👍

very good experience: restaurant ambiance:
so great experience dinner here
Quite enjoy the warm welcome from Sonia for the cheerful guided tour and detailed introduction of the old shop house. Below are my humble comments: 1. Food provided was different from the advertisement (see the photo to compare). The portion was small but most importanlty, tasted quite bland. You will be disappointed if your main signup reason is for dinning experience. Suggest signup for heritage purpose instead. 2. More lighting would be better for the guided tour within the shophouse premises, especially for the senior folks. 3. Some odd smell in the premises. But maybe this is part of the so call wartime a.k.a. old shop house setup. I'm sure organizer can improve the above if deem fit.
Food varieties and portion could be improved
messy dusty place with odd smell here and there. dark, hot and no air ventilation too, got fans and aircons but not used. i enjoyed looking at some interesting old antiques like the bridal bed and the wall motifs but the environment was rather intolerable. photos posted online looked 10x better than the actual state of thing. hope the host can clean up a bit and post more truthful pictures. i.e. don’t expect a nice menu and clean place there, just don’t use your cultural pass for food here it’s v bad. if you there for the art and history still acceptable just that everything is a bit here and there like contemporary modern painting here and then ancient chinese bridal bed there. not the most curated art place but that’s art right, if you don’t mind the mess and dust around.
Food offered differ a lot from the picture in introduction and the portion is pathetic. Also, a need to beef-up the heritage content.
