While the trolley is small and a bit cramped, and parking nearby is difficult and expensive, the tour offers a nice introduction to Anchorage's unique style and its history. The one-hour loop is reasonably enjoyable, and tipping after the tour is optional. There are souvenir shops near the meeting point, but most items are mass-produced; fine for browsing, but probably not worth collecting.

The tour was in English, but the driver and guide was very nice and it was a fun tour with singing and laughter. It was a small town and we were able to go around in just under an hour, but we enjoyed the refreshing breeze coming in through the window and the nature.
