Auschwitz-Birkenau Tour from Krakow

You receive a confirmation on your phone shortly before the tour. They pick you up and drop back. Hassle free. I would recommend this tour if you are around Krakow. Our guide was also very nice, took us through the history and details.

Initial pick up was supposed to be at 11:30, then pushed back at 12:35pm. The shuttle bus was late picking me up at 12:40. I then spent 50mins riding in the bus picking up others and we got to the main bus at 1:30pm. I asked to use to toilet and the driver gave me an attitude saying he’d give me 2 mins or he’d leave without me. when I got on the bus there was one seat left next to this gentleman who was coughing and hawking the whole way from start to finish. and now after 2 days I’ve caught the flu, possibly from him. the tour itself was amazing and the guide was thorough but that transfer was disappointing. I could have made my way to the main bus had they let me know where it was as it wasn’t far.

it a very good one, a very good tour. The meeting point was easy to get and comfortable transportation.

Let's talk about the advantages first. The driver is very qualified, polite, good at English, and the private car is a luxury new Mercedes. There are many disadvantages, mainly including: 1. No one called to confirm the departure time after booking in advance. Since the order description showed both 6 o'clock and 6:45, we didn't know until the departure that we would leave at 6 o'clock, and when the driver arrived, we were still sleeping. 2. The tour guide was not very professional and kept repeating the same knowledge points throughout the whole process. 3. The most annoying thing about the tour guide was that he was always rushing and urging us, not giving us time to look carefully, and walking very fast. We couldn't find the team immediately after we stopped for a while. In the end, there was no clear notice for the disbandment. We were asked to go to the bathroom, and the tour guide was gone when we came out.

The time of the tour was changed from 11 AM to 1.15 PM by informing just one day in advance.We had to reschedule our plan and stay an extra night in Krakow. Also it was supposed to be a private tour. Whereas only transportation was private and we were made to join a big group later

I was extremely dissatisfied with the tour guide's narration. I was halfway through the trip and was already eavesdropping on another tour guide who was not part of this group telling a story. If you want a group that includes pick-up and drop-off, you can choose this. But if you want to have a good travel experience in Auschwitz, please definitely don’t choose this. I would come back to Auschwitz one more time but would definitely choose a different team, it was a terrible experience and I learned absolutely nothing from it.
