Very convenient way of seeing the top attractions in New York City. Recommend planning which attractions you want to see as some are within walking distance of each other — i.e. Liberty Island cruise and 9/11 Memorial, Museum of Natural History and Met Museum. Top of the Rock has a better view of the city than the Empire State in my opinion.

I visited NYC during peak holiday season (the week between Christmas & the New Year) so the lines for all the attractions were very, very long. From easiest to worst experience with redeeming: - Empire State Building (completely skip the tickets lines, head straight to 2nd floor and you can get your ticket scanned for direct entry) - The Met (just need to scan the voucher barcode at a self-service kiosk, it prints out a sticker for you to stick on yourself and you're good to go) - American Museum of Natural History (I went during opening time, so the line to get this voucher scanned & exchanged for a physical museum ticket was non-existent. However noticed this line was pretty long about two hours after the museum had opened!) - Top of The Rock (pretty sure this is the only attraction that lets you exchange your voucher for a timed ticket days in advance of the actual time you want to visit the entry. So I went to the Top of the Rock box office on a Thurs night to get a 9am timed ticket for Sat morning. Doing this saves you heaps of time because the line to exchange the voucher for a ticket on the Sat looked insane and I was glad I could skip it) - 9/11 Museum (Oh boy. I had to endure a long line to first exchange the voucher for a timed ticket. Then, when I came back during the supposed entry time, had to endure an absolutely insane queue to get in & everyone in the line had the same timed ticket! :/ I honestly don't know if this is just a peak holiday season issue, but was not a pleasant exp). - Statue of Liberty (This was hands down the worst redeeming experience ever. Despite having a voucher, you have to get into the general ticket queue with EVERYONE else to exchange the voucher for a ticket. Which makes it utterly pointless to have a voucher in the first place? The wait time for this is not something I'd ever want to repeat in life lol. Plus you have to wait again to board the ferry for the Island even after you've gotten a ticket. I got there pretty early and I still had to wait maybe 4-5 hours in total to actually get to the Statue of Liberty (tickets for the day were sold out by 1pm & those arriving after this time were told to come back another day).

Used it over a crazy holiday period between Christmas and New Year and all I gotta say is DON’T DO IT. I’m sure it would’ve been fine any other time as I’ve used City Pass for LA, but don’t bother buying it for New York if you’re going on a high peak period. We only got to go to 3 out of 6 places and that’s after lining for hours. Because everybody has vouchers too, you end up in a longer line than regular admission. Just not the best experience for that timeframe.

The pass is amazing, while I didn't get to visit everything in the pass, it gets me in American Museum of Natural History, the Met, the Empire State building, Guggenheim and 9/11 Museum. I like the flexibility where I visit any time and any days. I wish I have more time to take advantage of the whole pass. (PS: I'm not sure why the photos get rotated)

Buy this for convenience! We went to 5 out of the 6 attractions. Metropolitan Museum (The Met) - Easy to use here, just walk in to one of the self service kiosk, scan your barcode & your sticker will be printed. Stick it to your shirt and you’re ready to walk around. Top of The Rock at Rockefeller: - Easy to use. You need to redeem a slot to go in. Go to Box Office (LG floor, same floor as Starbucks and near Ben & Jerry’s) - Use one of the self service kiosk at the Box Office, scan your barcode, book a slot & print your ticket. - Then walk across from Box Office to the entrance if you’re ready to go up. 9/11 Memorial - No need to print tickets etc, just head there & scan your barcode. Statue of Liberty - The longest line & the most people when we went - You must redeem a physical ticket at the Castle. Go to Counter 2, show your barcode & they’ll give you tickets. But Liberty Island is so so beautiful! Worth the long line! Empire State Building - Easy to use, just walk in the building & go through security. No need to redeem a physical ticket. So worth it to get this pass & is well known at these attractions so it makes it easier to use.
