Super convenient and on time! The Bus arrived at Outram around 9.15 and we reached the Woodland Checkpoint around 10.15, after custom it was easy to hop back on the Bus, no crownd. We reached JB checkpoint around 10.30 Definitely book again 👍
Really good experience! The bus left on time and the journey took about 2 hours. It was comfortable and well-organized throughout. There were a few stops to pick up other passengers, but everything went smoothly. The only downside is having to bring all your belongings when going through both Singapore and Malaysian immigration, which can be inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. Overall, still very convenient and stress-free!
I was hesitant to book this at first because of the mixed reviews here. Since the train from Woodlands to JB CIQ was fully booked on my preferred time slot already, I decided to take the risk instead. My experience was great. I chose Stevens Station Exit 3 (Bus Stop 40221) as my pickup location. I find this the most convenient pick up point if coming from Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen. I used Google Maps to get to the bus stop from the MRT Exit 3. Show your QR code to the bus driver before riding the bus. Bus driver will give you a ticket to keep because this will be collected again after you pass immigration. At the Woodlands Checkpoint, the bus driver will instruct you to alight and bring all belongings with you. Clearing immigration took me about 5-10 minutes (at around 9AM). After immigration, follow the directions going to tourist buses. TS8 operates as a tourist bus. The bus driver will ask for the receipt given to you at pick up. You will be dropped off at Johor Bahru Checkpoint.
I was able to get a seat both ways since it was the first stop. It departed right on time. The bus got really crowded as more people boarded at the intermediate stops. Seems like a lot of people are heading to Johor Bahru. It was convenient to go to Sentosa in one go. If you buy your ticket on Klook, make sure to save the QR code, as the driver will scan it upon boarding and give you a receipt. You'll need that receipt when you get off with all your luggage at the border and then re-board the bus, so keep it safe.
The bus departed on time, there were only around 10 of us waiting at T1 for the 2:15 pm bus. We showed the QR code to the driver when we got on the bus, he printed a receipt, wrote the number of passengers on the receipt and then gave it to us. He didn't scan the QR code. After going through SG CIQ, we got on the same bus, and we have to give back the receipt to the driver. Overall, the travel was quite smooth except for the part when we have to go back to the bus. There were several lanes and it was quite confusing for us as first time travelers.
driver was not nice, we were left in woodlands, we have to wait for the next bus for 30mins. going back to SG is a long queue, do not queue after passing malaysian immigration, just go straight to your bus bay number.
best transportation ever pickup from sentosa island go to jb sentral. stop at woodlands for clearance custom and very smooth and not jammed, The driver was very kind and accommodating.
My bus experience from Singapore to Johor Bahru this time was excellent. The bus was clean and tidy, and the seats were quite comfortable. The driver departed on time, and the immigration process was smooth. The overall journey was convenient and efficient, offering great value for money. If I travel between Singapore and Johor Bahru again in the future, I will definitely choose this bus service.
I made a mistake with the boarding location and had to miss one bus. Actually, finding the boarding location isn't difficult. I saw reviews saying it's best to hurry during immigration, so I moved efficiently. After entering the country, the place to re-board the bus was on the left lane, opposite the public buses, and it was empty.
for foreigner especially in groups you need to be fast and early as possible because the seat is first come first serve. and if the bus is full you need to stand up. however the ride was fast, up to 15-20 mins to woodlands check point.
