Snorkeling Experience in Silfra

Incredibly unique experience while visiting Iceland! The water is extremely clear and it is really cool to know you are snorkeling between the two tectonic plates. There are no fish to see, but the rock formations are beautiful. The drysuit is a bit cumbersome to put on and swim with, but it keeps you dry and warm during the experience. The included photos the guide takes are a great souviner from the experience. I highly recommend booking this experience.

this experience was absolutely worth it🤩although it was a bit cold (going mid winter), the drysuit really does keep you warm (especially with the offered hot chocolates at the end), the staff were funny and friendly, as well as, making sure you’re comfortable during the snorkelling. you can see sooo much, the water is super clear, and the area in general is stunning. highly recommend😍

Coach Aron is very nice, his explanations are clear, he made sure everyone kept up with the team, and we also took photos with Go Pro, it was full of memories~~~

Facilities: The dryer works great, so you won't stay wet after snorkeling. Instructor: The instructor is very funny and helpful, and took lots of photos for us.

The coach was friendly and spoke excellent English, making communication easy. They took great care of the group throughout the entire trip. Overall, a good experience, but the lake water was really cold. Since it's a dry suit, you can wear your own clothes underneath.

Great experience! After booking on Klook, follow the instructions in the email to get to the meeting point. Also, for those planning to participate, it's recommended to bring an extra set of clothes, as some water may still seep into the dry suit.

Even though it's a drysuit, some water still gets in around the neck and cuffs, so it can get a little chilly. It's best to bring a change of clothes.

great experience snorkeling in silfra, very good and funny guide who took pictures on his gopro throughout the journey, had the best hot chocolate ever after the activity.

For city pick-up, I had to email to ask for it myself. I was asked to wait at the bus stop at 7:30, but the pick-up didn't arrive until 8:00. It was very frustrating to wait for more than 30 minutes in -13 degrees Celsius! When snorkeling in the Big Rift at 0-2 degrees, a dry suit can keep you dry, warm and buoyant, but your hands and face still have to endure the unforgettable cold. You will shiver with cold as soon as you come out of the water, and your hands will be so cold that you lose consciousness! It was a very special experience, but there was actually nothing to see in the water!
