Reviews
Dolmabahce Palace is very splendid. We saw the magnificence of the palace. The tour guide's explanation was very good. Thank you.
this tour was interesting. the guide gave us a 15 min introduction to ottoman history and highlighted some differences between this palace and topkapi. after that it takes about 45 min for free walking without the guide. you can’t take photos and have to wear shoe covers to walk inside the main palace. also, the harem building is separate and is included in the tour. the furnishing and the interior is absolutely amazing. worth a look around to see although pictures are not allowed inside.
Beautiful view of the Bosphorus from the palace. The ticket is quite expensive and the guide portion was meh. The inside of the palace looks more or less the same after a while.
The tour guide only made some opening remarks and let us visit on our own. First, he took us to visit the harem and gave us only enough time to look at the flowers. We didn't even have enough time to listen to the audio guide. We also wondered how the other two people in the same group could see so quickly. , maybe everyone wants to see it, just take a look. The traditional local cuisine at the Cafe next to the exit is delicious.
the guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. the Dolmabahce is beautiful - an absolute must visit in Istanbul
Very good experience with the guided tour.Detailed explaination of the palace
Interesting tour that showcases the grandeur of the Ottomans in the 18th century. The palace itself is magnificent!
I was expecting a proper tour of the palace, not one that lasted 10 mins and the guide saw us goodbye after a brief intro of the palace after bringing us into the main gate. better of buying the standard palace ticket instead.
