Reviews
It is a wonderful experience. Though the day we went was little rainy, they provided suitable equipments like warm coats and rain coats, so it wasn't as cold as expected. It's always be the luck of the draw to see whales. Luckily after less than an hour waiting, we found couples of whales (and Puffins on the sea). Moreover, we were lucky enough to see one whale jumping out of the water. The crew are nice and explained the situation in detail. Highly recommended Gentle Giants to everyone for whale watching!
The tour guide Fabio and his assistant Fiaona were very professional in helping to introduce the entire whale watching process and precautions. It was recommended to take seasickness medicine and not to be stubborn. Most people on the boat were vomiting. Fortunately, we saw beautiful whales and whale tails. The whole experience lasted more than 3 hours. It is also recommended not to wear too many clothes... Otherwise, the winter coats and raincoats provided would be difficult to put on. It was really a special experience. You must come to Husavik to watch whales when you come to Iceland in summer.
we got to see many humpback whales despite the windy weather. I highly recommended. The guide is super nice and she knows what she's doing, a marine biologist, what else do you ask for. 3 hours of unforgettable experience.
Very nice tour, a bit too expensive, but a good experience overall.
need to go there office 40min in advance, as you need to queue to get the physical ticket. park the car nearby, go to toilet etc. whale is so close to see
easy claiming of the voucher. great discount voucher as well after claiming. great weather during our trip
Safety: Everyone changes into a warm one-piece suit before boarding the boat. Location: The meeting point is easy to find, and there's free public parking nearby. Equipment: The captain's driving skills are excellent.
Fantastic! 🐋 The boat was larger and sailed far out of the harbor. We saw several different whales. Josefine entertained us with interesting facts in her simply lovely way. The boat didn't rock much. And the whales were left alone after a while, which gave us plenty of time to move on to the next spot and observe the next animal. They were very close! The tour lasted just over 3 hours in total. We were able to take our backpacks with us, and there was a restroom at the starting point. A huge thank you!
it was an eye opener to see the whales. I went in mid October and still managed to see some sightings on a good weather
We had an amazing experience. We were lucky to see blue whales and humpback whales. The day before, the conditions weren't very good, but the day we went, it was really nice, the weather was favorable, and the crew was excellent. It was amazing.
