Marrakech Fes UNESCO Site and Desert 3-Day Tour

Riding a camel into the desert, watching the sunrise on the sand dunes, and staying at the Berber tent in the desert at night are the climax and highlights of this trip. It is always a group tour, and the quality of transportation depends on the arrangements of the local operator. Our pick-up and drop-off transportation and kimono are relatively weak, but it is not something that Zamono customers can control. Some friends in the same group signed up for a tour in Marrakech and paid much less than what we paid. Overall satisfaction is also very good.

It was very good. The driver arrived at the appointed place on time to pick us up to play in the desert.

There are cost-effective itineraries and routes, and the bonfire party at night is very high.

The tour guides Zaki and Dissou are very friendly! Although I traveled alone, I was very happy and at ease throughout the trip. Have fun getting along with other fellow travelers😁

I guess you get what you pay for. The initial communications was good re meeting time and place. But on the day we didn’t know the name of the tour company. We wasted so much time waiting for other people and connecting vans. The host didn’t tell us what was going on. The driving was long with poor air conditioning, uncomfortable seats, and seatbelts that didn’t work. The first night’s accommodation was good. Beautiful location, helpful staff etc. The second days travelling was a nightmare with very long times and being in the back of a truck outside in the dust driving through the desert with the luggage for 15 minutes. Supposed to be dropped off in Fez at 14:00 but this was closer to 18:00. They rely too much on 3rd party agents who don’t communicate. One guide was too aggressive in asking for tips. The camel ride into the desert was great though. loads of time for pics.
