Go yo redeem the card at tourist information center at Römerberg 27 first. Then, everything is convenient. I can get discount price at many museums and attraction. Also, I can take any transportations easily. Recommend to buy the card.
I bought the 2 days transport card, I could go anywhere around Frankfurt. it is very convenient. definitely worth it!
I pre-ordered a 2-day travel card before departure, but since I didn't spend much time in Frankfurt, I ended up mostly exploring the city on foot (but it's still reassuring to have a travel card on hand, so you don't have to worry about how to buy tickets when you need it)! I highly recommend purchasing one, especially for first-time or solo travelers.
a very good deal to discover the city. highly recommended.
Very practical, the location is also easy to find, right in the Roman Forum, very practical, I went to many places in one day, changed several different lines, maybe it was a short distance, I didn't encounter ticket checking throughout the whole journey 😊
Super value for money as I saved 50% museum and attractoon tickets. Easy redemption at the tourist info. You may want to get the card not on Monday cuz most museums are closed.
Based on previous reviews, I went to the Romer Tourist Information Center to redeem the voucher, but the staff said that the electronic ticket we received could actually be used directly! Just show this electronic QR code when tickets are checked or when purchasing museum tickets. We received ticket discounts at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum and the Städel Museum!
I bought a card, which was great because I used it several times, including for the train from Frankfurt Airport to downtown and for the tram from downtown to my accommodation! It also offered museum discounts, and I got half off at the Goethe House (^^). However, many museums and attractions are closed on Mondays, so I recommend having a rough plan for the day you buy the card. On the train from the airport, a staff member came to check tickets, and showing them the QR code (or something similar) from my voucher on my phone was perfectly fine!
The Frankfurt Card is one of the most practical investments you can make if you plan on exploring the city’s cultural scene. It is essentially a combined travel ticket and discount pass. It is also digital (as a PDF file) so you no longer need to go collect a physical card. This includes the train ride to/from Frankfurt airport
The Frankfurt Card was very useful because it was able to transport me from the Airport to my hotel. After that, I was able to explore some sights in the city.
