Fantastic
It’s a very convenient way to go to the airport! It’s a direct train bound for the airport terminals 1, 2 &3! It already showed us what time the trains will arrive as well as reserved us seats already!

Fantastic
Upon arrival at the station, we claimed the tickets through a machine. Line wasn’t that long and we just had to follow the directions from the given guide to locate it. The train ride from Osaka to Tokyo was convenient for us who wanted to visit two cities in one go.

Fantastic
1. The bullet train, also known as Shinkansen, is the best way to travel between Nagoya and Tokyo. [Image of Bullet train from Nagoya to Tokyo] 2. It's a fast, comfortable, and convenient way to cover the 341 km (212 mi) distance in about 1.5 hours. 3. With departures as frequent as every 10 minutes, you won't have to wait long for the next train. 4. Choose between Nozomi, the fastest option, or Hikari trains which make fewer stops. 5. Tickets can range from around $100 USD for an unreserved seat to $140 USD for a reserved seat. 6. Enjoy spacious seating, large windows for scenic views, and luggage racks for your belongings. 7. Many Shinkansen bullet trains offer onboard amenities like wifi, toilets, and vending machines. 8. Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, you'll have easy access to the city's public transportation network. 9. Bullet trains are an efficient and enjoyable way to experience modern Japan's transport infrastructure. 10. Booking your tickets in advance is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.

Fantastic
The travel was really smooth, and the time schedule was strictly followed. The trains were also clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a hassle-free experience. It's my first bullet train experience and I'd like to try it again when I visit other prefectures.

Fantastic
We did not buy the JR Pass so this was the next best thing. It was an easy process to get tickets and reserve seats via the ticket machines. A fun ride going about 150 mph but Mt. Fuji was cloud covered.

Fantastic
trip to Kyoto from Tokyo and back was good. we booked first class ticket and seats were very comfortable. I compared prices booking direct or through Klook and difference was very small. I couldn’t booki direct online as they didn’t accept any of my cards and I didn’t want to leave it to book at station. Kyoto station was a bit confusing, with no much help from staff so having instructions with photos from Klook was helpful. but even with that there were few moments of panic. highlight of the Kyoto was mini pig cafe

Fantastic
very easy to redeem ticket, just check the e-ticket machines, afterwards you can directly go to the train, the train is clean, but if you select non reserved in rush hour, expect that you cannot get a seat, but if its not a problem to you, since other passenger will get off to next stations, you still can get a seat, but you just need to wait, then its a good buy.

Fantastic
Got my ticket train from Klook for Shinjuku station to Kawaguchiko Station and so easy to get the main ticket just follow the details and scan it on a ticket machine from Tokyo St. or Shinjuku St. and everything is all set for you to travel .

Fantastic

Fantastic
Easy and convenient to book for one-way Shinkansen on Klook! Remember to follow the instructions to print the tickets at the machine and insert both tickets while you pass through the ticket gates. Will definitely book through Klook again in my next trip to Japan!

There are 9 Shinkansen lines in total. Starting from the west of Tokyo, the Tokaido Shinkansen connects Tokyo to Kyoto and Osaka; the famous Nozomi train also runs within this Shinkansen line. The Sanyo Shinkansen line connects Osaka to Fukuoka; it is an extension of the Tokaido Shinkansen that can take you from Tokyo to Fukuoka (Hakata). Panning into Kyushu region, there’s also the Kyushu Shinkansen, operating from Hakata to Kagoshima.

Looking at the north and east of Tokyo, there are 6 more Shinkansen lines. The Hokuriku Shinkansen and Joetsu Shinkansen can take you from Tokyo to Kanazawa and Niigata. The Tohoku Shinkansen offers services between Tokyo and Aomori, with 2 extension lines as Yamagata Shinkansen (from Fukushima) and Akita Shinkansen (from Morioka). Finally, there’s the Hokkaido Shinkansen, with services between Aomori and Hakodate.

What is Narita Express (N'EX)?

The Narita Express is a dedicated airport train that runs between Narita Airport and various locations in Tokyo, including Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station. It operates regularly throughout the day, with departures as often as every 30 minutes.

One of the key advantages of taking the Narita Express is its speed. The train travels at up to 160 kilometers per hour, allowing you to reach your destination quickly and comfortably. You won't have to worry about traffic jams or delays due to road congestion.

Another benefit of the Narita Express is its convenience. The train has plenty of luggage space, and you can easily store your suitcases in the overhead racks or at the end of each car. Plus, the seats are comfortable and spacious, making for a pleasant travel experience.

What is the Nozomi train?

Famous for its speed, the Nozomi Shinkansen train can run up to as fast as 300 km per hour (185 mph). This bullet train runs from Tokyo Station to Shin Osaka station or Kyoto station. Since it is not covered by the Whole Japan Rail Pass, you'll need to book a separate ticket to ride this train.

Can I take a trip from Tokyo to Osaka or Kyoto?

Yes, with the Tokaido Shinkansen. As two of the busiest Shinkansen routes, the Tokaido Shinkansen connects the 3 of the biggest cities in Japan with up to 32 trains running a day. You can arrive in the west of Japan from the capital in around 2.5 hours. The train stations are all located in the city centre, so getting around is easy. Search now on Klook to check ticket prices and schedules for your Shinkansen tickets to get from Tokyo to Osaka or Kyoto!

Ordinary car: You'll still get a great travel experience at a more affordable price. All cars have free WiFi.

Can I reserve my seats on Shinkansen trains?

Yes - you can pick between whether you want a reserved seat ticket or a non-reserved seat ticket.

Reserved seat: You will get a specified train and seat.

Non-reserved seat: You will get better flexibility as you can take any train for the specified date/route. However, you are not guaranteed a seat and you might need to stand for the journey.
