The night cherry blossom light sculpture is very beautiful! The night cherry blossoms look even more beautiful under different colors of lights! The projection sculpture show is projected on the Nijo Castle wall. Seeing the organizer's careful arrangement and matching it with traditional Japanese music, it is really comfortable to walk around Nijo Castle at night.

It was very atmospheric to enjoy the night cherry blossoms at Nijo Castle, but the heavy rain in Jada affected the experience. I'm glad I didn't buy tickets for the VIP refreshments in advance. I felt so wet that I wasn't in the mood to enjoy them at all. The environment feels like an outdoor teamLab. It is recommended that you reserve at least 1.5 hours to avoid being unable to turn around and enjoy it when it closes.

It was an extremely enjoyable experience to view cherry blossoms together with digital art and sound. well worth the ticket price and effort to go to Nijo Castle. A must-go if you are in Kyoto this Sakura season.

The day we went was 25/3, it was cold and rainy. We knew there were no cherry blossoms to see, so we just went in to see the night view of Nijo Castle. Sure enough, most of the trees didn't even have flower buds yet. Fortunately, there is a white cherry tree in full bloom at the very end of the viewing route, which makes the trip worthwhile.

The illuminations are a highlight during the Sakura season at Nijo Castle. The lights make the trees even more colorful at night.

Lovely experience seeing Nijo Castle lit up with illuminations. There are food stalls at the end of the show, which is nice for cold nights.
