Robertson House by Crest is located near the riverside at Clarke Quay, with pedestrian access to both the north and south banks. Although a six-lane motorway runs nearby, road noise is minimal and only occasionally noticeable at night. Clarke Quay MRT is about a 10-minute walk, while Fort Canning MRT is around five minutes away. UE Square sits next door, offering convenient cafés and dining options. Arrival is easy with a small drop-off roundabout. The concierge and check-in area is compact, with limited seating and décor that feels dated, influenced by a Baba-Nyonya heritage style. Check-in at 8pm was quick and efficient. Room 634 on the sixth floor was at the far end of the building, offering pool and partial quayside views. The room was small but functional, with a comfortable double bed, study desk, Nespresso machine, complimentary sparkling water, and USB charging by the bed. The bathroom featured marble tiles and Appelles toiletries, the odd shaped shower was cramped.

the hotel is located next to metro with around 5 minutes walk, and nearby have sightseeing spots as well, quit convenient. However during the check-in, we waited for 30 minutes due to insufficient frontdesk manpower. The room is a bit old and small for a 5-star hotel, and the water kettle has dirt so we didn't use it.

Very friendly staff. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient and fast. Location is good if you want a relatively quiet place. It has a 7-11 and Starbucks and some restaurants nearby. Some walk needed to Fort Canning MRT Station and while it's relatively near to Clarke Quay and Central, on a hot day it can still be quite a walk.
