Prime location. Very helpful staff and clean. Could use some maintenance of the building. Overall, a nice stay.

The location was absolutely spot on for the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia and other historical sights locally. The hotel itself was a traditional Turkish converted house, quite old (200yrs old?), with a steep spiral staircase (no elevator so not really suitable for anyone with movement disabilities) but a place that is full of character. The rooms comfortable but basic, and the bed comfortable. The staff were excellent and really made this trip for us. They were helpful, engaging and nothing was too much to help our stay. Breakfast was very good and extensive. The hotel arranged a car from the airport for us at 5 in the morning (arrival) and 3.30 am (departure). This was our first time to Istanbul and whilst a short 3 day trip, we packed a lot in. The hotel staff were truly helpful in arranging things for us to make our stay enjoyable. Would we stay here again? Yes. The location was quiet (apart from the "call to prayers" a few times a day being next to the Blue Mosque), excellent and whilst the hotel itself was small and basic, that did not matter as the services was excellent, and the location convenient. If you want a basic accommodation near all the historical sites, and don't mind staying in a boutique style hotel, and not a mainstream 'Marriott' type hotel, then you will enjoy this place.

My wife and I spent six nights at this property. I had booked a double street-view room, but for the first night, we were placed in a very tiny back room. In the morning, the manager reached out to apologize for the mistake and moved us to a larger (not much) street-view room. The property is quite old, which wouldn't usually be an issue, but the housekeeping and overall maintenance were lacking. Breakfast is basic, but the location is perfect.

Great location, owner and staff were friendly and informative. Breakfast was decent and the breakfast ladies were very nice. It's an older place so if you are expecting new feel you won't get it here but for price/location/value you can't beat this spot! Incredible view of the Blue Mosque from the rooftop deck.

Perfect location, close to popular sites shops, grand bazar. Easy to walk to restaurants. Staff very friendly, helpful and obliging. My only negative was that the matrees was extremely hard and uncomfortable.
