Staff were amazing

A charmingly presented, characterful hotel. Staff could not do enough to help. Restaurant prices were at the higher end of what was typical for that standard but the food and service couldn’t be faulted. A wonderful stay in a beautiful city.

Very nice hotel. Had a large room with cleaning daily. Antique furniture was really cool in the room along with all the other antique showings throughout the building. The staff was very helpful when we asked about what tours to take along with helping us register and pay for them. Located in a perfect area.

It felt like a very unique experience staying this 500 year old hotel in the old city. I liked the location, the staff. Overall, it is really good.

My wife and I very much enjoyed the historic charm of this hotel. The location is perfect and the staff (especially the front desk and restaurant staff) are very helpful and provide excellent service. The only critique we have is that the beds are too firm. They could use a pillow top or foam insert over the main mattress to add comfort.

This is great hotel, right in the heart of Lucerne. It has old world charm and excellent service.

There are hotels… and then there are places that become part of your story. Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann was, without question, my favorite place from my entire trip to Switzerland. As a solo traveler, feeling welcomed matters, and the staff here went far beyond that. Friendly, warm, genuinely kind… and somehow they actually remembered you. It never felt transactional. It felt personal. They even held my luggage before check-in and had it waiting in my room when I arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling. The hotel itself is pure magic. Over 500 years old, filled with charm and character around every corner. Beautiful old-world details, cozy sitting areas, complimentary coffee and tea, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. My room was beautiful, the bed incredibly comfortable, and every space felt thoughtful and inviting. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to cafés, shops, and the Chapel Bridge — but one of my favorite parts was knowing that after wandering all day, I got to come back here at night. I absolutely loved it here. A truly special place that I will remember for a very long time.
