walking distance to mrt, 10 minutes walking to chinatown, 15 minutes walking to SGH, room was clean, easy n quick check in n check out, nothing to complain n definitely will stay here again. tq

The biggest advantage of Dorsett Singapore is its location, just steps from Outram Park MRT, with easy access to HarbourFront, Clarke Quay and other attractions. Note that Exit 4 has an elevator but also stairs to the road with no luggage ramp. The room is dated, but surprisingly well equipped, with a mini fridge, hairdryer, iron, safe, kettle and toiletries. The large window and city view were a nice bonus. The air-conditioning was slightly cool, but the duvet was comfortable. The main issues were the very bright bathroom light and the lack of a bathroom power outlet. Soundproofing is also only average, although our room away from the elevator was quiet. Tong Ah Eating House is a 6-minute walk away, and Kok Sen Restaurant is also nearby. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dorsett if you value location, convenience and good value. It’s not a modern hotel, but it’s a safe, comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring Singapore. For us, the location was absolutely unbeatable.

great location with lift access from mrt station and close to many tourist attractions. the room was spacious

nice hotel , location convenient

Room is small but acceptable. the toilet and shower area is to squeeze to open and close the door of the shower. it is very inconvenient. we have booked 2 single bed but was told that we didn't and offer us a King Bed.

our stay was only just for 1 night since we were going for a cruise the next day. we were came early like 1-2 hr before check in time and Rommel (receptionist) were very helpful, he was accomodated the rooms for us ready and he was very friendly. MRT station was Oatram Park which was only 3 minutes walking, food hawkers were just a few minutes away too. and the hotel was near to Queic the famous cheesecake.

The location in Chinatown is very good, right beside the Outram Park station. It has a rooftop pool. My only issues were some of the amenities. I had to manually close the TV because the remote control was not working. Also, I thought the shower gel bottle was empty, but I found out that the dispenser was not working. But aside from these minor inconveniences, my stay was quite fine.

Perfect hotel for a short gateaway, maximum convenience as the mrt is right below
