Well to begin with I have never experienced anything like this at a hotel what I experienced with Novotel Athens! First of all I had booked my booking with breakfast they mentioned it was not included so we had to pay for breakfast for 8 days for 6 of us. Secondly, I asked reception if they can send water bottle to my room they mentioned water is only complementary on the first day after that we must buy the water bottle from their rooftop restaurant/bar; irons were given but for limited time and the housekeeper would take it regardless we were in our rooms or not. I don’t have anything good to say about the hotel that was my experience overall it was “Okay” do think twice before booking because the area is a little shady too (Druggies around that area).

Le déjeuner est décadent, c’est l’un des meilleurs déjeuner inclut! Super variété, excellente qualité et des mets typique de la Grèce. La chambre et le tapis était un peu humide. La piscine était très bien avec une très belle vue de la ville et de l’acropole. Service de navette gratuit pour se rendre à l’acropole était très apprécié.

Fantastic
Really lovely hotel with an excellent pool which was a life saver in the heat. The hotel is modern and very well maintained. It is not in the best area of Athens but had a bus to take you there and was near several metros.

Good
Stayed at Novotel Athens recently and overall it was an average experience. The location is fine. Walkable to metro stations, which made getting around easy, though it felt a little unsafe after dark. Breakfast was extremely busy, often with nowhere to sit, and the food itself was just ok, nothing special. The pool was small and packed with kids, some using flippers and pool toys, which made it hard to actually relax and enjoy. Being a large hotel, noise was an issue too. You could hear other guests both at night and in the morning. For the price they charge, I expected a bit more overall.
