Great
The room was clean, but needs some updates (mostly bathroom). It was very small for just three people and a dog. The local restaurant was fine, but massively over priced for the quality.

Fantastic
What a beautiful layout of lodging! We enjoyed walking to the lodge for breakfast and dinner. Property is lovely and I especially enjoyed the bench right outside our door to enjoy the evening.

Great
The staff were amazing. They were very helpful during check in and throughout. The lodge is super close to the rim and it made seeing the canyon very easy. The on site restaurant had great food with plenty of seating. The only reason I can not give it 5 stars is that we were traveling with 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids) and we were put in a room with two queen beds with no option for a fold out bed or a roll-away. I do not know how two queen beds would sleep 5 people comfortably. Other than that it was a great stay and we will be back again.

The room was very dirty. We were in one of the pet friendly rooms and there were what were clearly pee stains all over the floor. There was no WiFi and when I called the front desk to ask about it, I was told that the WiFi doesn’t work the further you get from the main building. We were in one of the furthest buildings so apparently those do not have WiFi. I notified the property that these issues were unacceptable and got no response. We were supposed to stay two nights and only stayed one because it was awful.

Great
This is a basic hotel in the park. Clean and we were able to drive down the road 3 minutes and watch the sunrise. We were able to see sunset and sunrise in the park. If that’s important to you great, If you’re not doing that and you’re looking for activities like pool, etc I think you would be just fine staying outside the park. It’s probably about 20 minutes to other places. I think if you come to the Grand Canyon, you want to see it. The pool is at any hotel.

Fantastic
Breakfast good but had to pay and have to order by computer. (don't like that) Has a blue shuttle pickup. Our stay dates were 7/10 -12. Great shuttle service. Is also near a food store

Great
Lodge is in the park which saves travel time to visit the views. It’s right next to a general store and restaurant, tavern, and breakfast cafe. There’s no free breakfast which as the biggest downside. Meals are about $20ish dollars which can add up for a large family. The lodge was very quiet and near animals like the elk and a very short walk to the shuttles. Very clean. It’s not fancy but the price was reasonable and close to everything.
