Great Great location inside Grand Canyon NP. The lodge was overall good with nice food options nearby. The room wasn’t super clean. We had to call about a dirty shower curtain with old rags (from the previous travelers) hanging over it.

GoodStayed with kids
Great location but room is very basic. Phone didn’t work in room and was told it wouldn’t be fixed during our visit.
We had 2 rooms, one wasn’t ready. Never called like they said they would to let us know it w ready. Seems like they have a shortage on housekeepers. Room was supposed to be cleaned daily, but only restocked towels.

Below averageStayed with friends
I reserved 2 rooms. Upon arrival, one of the rooms had not been cleaned at all. The bed was unmade, trash in the room, and hair all in the shower and bed. After we complained, housekeeping arrived with sheets and handed them to us to change ourselves. We refused and explained the room had not been cleaned at all. They asked us to leave so they could clean, which we did.
When we went to get i to bed that night, we realized that the sheets were dirty. They had never changed the sheets!!! The building and room were disgusting. For a beautiful national park and nearly $300 per night, I expected better— at the bare minimum, a clean room to rest.

GreatStayed with family · For friends and family
Room was ok. Could have been cleaner and the hallway was pretty run down/ could use some improvement. Wasn’t expecting pristine in a national park so still gave overall 4 stars. Espresso machine was down at the cafe so that was disappointing. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the tavern restaurant.

Our room and bath were very clean. The lodge restaurant and tavern were very good food, clean eating area and not too expensive.
The common hall outside of our room smelled of dirty or worn carpet. Not pleasant but the odor did not enter our room. The exterior picnic tables showed wear but were not broken.
The staff were all wonderful, helpful, and courteous.
We would stay again. It was extremely convenient access to the park.

When we got there we were told our second night there was going to be no power from 11pm-about 3am. We wanted to check out a day early. I wasn’t comfortable with the power outage. Because booked through Expedia they wouldn’t my money. I did call Expedia and were helpful and we didn’t confirm that we were cancelling and the next day we found out we had been checked out. We had to rush back from out hike and pack and leave.
