For a Hilton-owned property, I was taken aback by the worn-out furniture and dated rooms. The furniture in the junior suite exudes an 80s vibe and appears to have undergone numerous renovations. Upon entering the lobby, the oppressive heat and stuffiness immediately hit me.
I must also mention that a few of the front desk staff members were less than pleasant. Their unprofessional behavior, such as rolling their eyes and making comments about callers, left a sour taste in my mouth.
The parking situation was equally frustrating. When we inquired about parking options at the front desk, we were rudely informed that we could cancel our reservation and find another hotel. This inappropriate and unprofessional response was a major turn-off.
Considering these issues, I would strongly advise against choosing this location for a pleasurable experience. After discussing the situation with several parents who were visiting for the basketball tournament, we unanimously decided to exclude this hotel from our list of potential host hotels.
