A slightly dated 5* Sofitel but you will notice they have tried to add little details to update it. Location is slightly out of the way from main features of Sentosa but this could be a positive if you wish to stay away from the crowds. On the flip side, the location means you will solely need to rely on their shuttle bus or Sentosa Bus B, which are infrequent, unless you drove your own car. It is also located on an uphill slope with no pavement so as you alight Bus B, you roam across the road and up the hotel driveway. It was good that they offered significant discounts on most of their F&B, otherwise the quality and taste are not worth it, likely most choose to dine in there for convenience. The minibar/ tea coffee station in room was strange and impractical, it was an angled lid which gets in the way and it does not tilt back. Staffs were friendly and helpful, especially the concierge team.
