This hotel is located right above a bar with live music. Nowhere this is mentioned in the hotels.com description. People who gave good reviews must have been there on a night where the bar was closed or on a floor high enough to not hear it too much. There was no way to sleep before the bar closed. Makes no sense that adjacent bar was not mentioned. Never again

The Wellington Hotel Temple Bar is awesome. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were clean, refreshed and stocked daily. Water bottle and glasses in the room. We requested to be away from the bar, as it gets loud, and they put us on an upper level, so we could do “touristy” things. The music in the bar (O’ Riordan’s) was always fun, and great food too. Zero problems. Super accommodating. Centrally located to everything as well. Not sure I’m spelling their names correctly, but the staff was just, wow. We paid for the cheapest room, so you get what you pay for... It was clean though which is main thing. Our room had no outdoor window. But I think the wall above the bed was an outdoor wall, so a small window could potentially be installed. Unfortunately no fridge in the room which was quite inconvenient. Great location. Bar was ok, expensive as with the rest of Dublin. Toilets are far from the bar and could be maintained more nicely.

Top floor. Corner room. The electric blinds are amazing. Despite all the noise below, our room was very quiet and we sleep soundly

3 of us stayed for 4 nights, 1st-5th July and we were welcomed immediately. Check in was quick and straight forward and our room was ready early so we could unpack and explore straight away. All staff were friendly and breakfast was fabulous!

This hotel is in the perfect location. Wedged between Temple Bar Lane and the Liffey river. While the surrounding bars can be loud at night, the hotel rooms seem rather noise insulated. My hotel room was like a little penthouse flat with a terrace, a table and chairs. I loved my room and being close to so many restaurants, cafes and pubs. Loved it.

When we checked in we realised the bar downstairs is playing live music everyday. We been told it will stop at 11pm and bar will shut midnight. When we came back to hotel for rest after a very long day exploring the staff on reception told us the music will stop 11.30pm. We could very easily hear the music from downstairs and our rooms was on 1st floor they refused to give us room higher up from the bar. In the morning a room cleaning staff started cleaning rooms at around 8am and bang the furniture ect. We woken up and couldn't sleep longer because of this. Very NOISY! Avoid!
