Excellent amenities and spa. Room very clean and comfortable. Only issue was, I think I got food poisoning from dinner in the restaurant.

This charming, 21st century high-tech hotel is perfectly situated in Dublin. The staff is phenomenal, the food was delicious and the room was lovely. My only issue is that being of a petite stature, I found that beds are very high and difficult to get into. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again!

Upon arrival at the Chancery Hotel, I suspected that its target demographic was not jet-lagged Americans arriving after an overnight flight to Dublin. Too many room features were quirky and non-intuitive. Curtains-that opened — and sometimes closed — without prompting. A bathroom door without a knob or handle. (There were electronic controls which made it very easy inadvertently to open the door while in the bathroom,) After a good night’s sleep, most of the room’s quirks became less exasperating. The room was comfortable and well-furnished, if a bit cramped for the price point. The hotel is a moderate walk from major attractions The hotel is on a narrow street across from the western wall of Dublin Castle, which assured little street noise for rooms at the front of the hotel. But that street can occasionally close for official events at the caste, one of which was occurring the morning we checked out. The hotel staff exerted strenuous efforts to make sure we and our luggage were on a cab so we could catch our train to our next stop. For this reason, I award the hotel a rating of 4.51/5.

Everything was excellent except to make the bed a little lower. Maybe reverse the location of the luggage area toward the window and table in the middle. Just a bit crappy but above else was excellent stay all in all.

Perfect location! We chose this hotel because it was located in walkable distance to many of the sights we wanted to see. 10 minute walk from Temple Bar area, Trinity and Stephen’s Green. Guinness and Jameson were a little bit more of a walk (20 mins) but still manageable and can always uber! Right next to the Dublin Castle even though it is closed to the public until December it was nice to walk by. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms also are pretty nice size. Breakfast was included in our booking and it got the job done. Overall I would stay here again!

Staff were king and helpful. Room was very small compared to Raddison Blu Royal next door. What upset us was a rude house keeper working directly across from our room. She was on her mobile phone and very loud at 3:30pm. We were trying to get in some sleep after a long flight.
