This is a run down hotel. The bathrooms, although updated, are extremely old with old bathtubs. The water was sufficient, which was good. The air conditioning was old. The furnishings were old, although well kept. For the price I paid, the hotel should have been in better shape, inside and out. The exterior of the hotel has not been upgraded and has no curb appeal. It is just simply an old property not sufficiently upgraded and the pricing does not even reflect that. The breakfast that is included, despite there being a kitchen/restaurant facility on-site, was a bagged breakfast of a bagged muffin, a yogurt and a kids juice box. Do better on this at the very least. All other places that include breakfast have eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, etc. This was not impressive in the least. The staff that checked us in was polite and effective and the cleaning staff seen on site were perhaps the best part as they were polite, courteous, helpful and they clean the rooms well. Parking was sufficient, however the parking lot is in need of repair as the lot was quite full one night and we had to drive around the exterior part and nearly bottomed out our car on a large hole. Finally, even early in the afternoon, the rooms permit noise to pass through quite easily. There was a family in the next room and conversations and children were easily heard.

this place is so old it’s falling apart. A/C was loud, washroom was so small, although it did have what we needed. Everything was so stained, even the sheets, I asked for clean sheets. Coming out of the building there were many cracks in the cement, my spouse fell with the luggage, ripped his elbow and forearm along with his knees. Oh will not return anytime.

One night stay June 2026: Positives: Comfortable beds Lots of pillows Parking right outside your door Spacious and clean room Breakfast was satisfactory for an on the go bagged breakfast. Shower took awhile to heat up but was great. Negatives: The neighbourhood. Not the hotel’s fault. I’m sure this hotel existed when you could walk around in the neighbourhood. It is truly scary now. We drove places we would normally walk to because of the sketchy neighbourhood. The Mayor and Councillors of Ottawa should be ashamed. This is Canada’s capital city. Where is the pride you take in that?

Although an older motel, the rooms are clean and the staff very helpful. They also provide breakfast and parking included in the price!
