If you’re going on a trip to visit the gorgeous town of Hakone, make sure to add a visit to The Little Price Museum to your itinerary! It was built as parting of the worldwide celebration of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s birth centennial and, of course, his literary masterpiece. The museum’s design is that of a quaint French town with many gardens, so just walking around it is already a treat. It’s also surrounded by lush and majestic Hakone nature; you can sit down by the cafe, sip on some afternoon tea, feel relaxed, and converse with fellow visitors about “The Little Prince” and how each of you experienced the book. Exploring each building will give you glimpses of the inspiring life of Saint-Exupéry and how he has impacted the lives of millions of readers all over the world with just one book. Visiting this museum is a must for people who enjoyed The Little Prince and for those seeking inspiration.

What people are saying about Museums in Kanagawa Prefecture
I knew it was supposed to be a small place, but it was more than what I expected. The curation of the whole exhibition, especially the indoor exhibition, is very precise and aesthetically pleasing, with much stage effect incorporated. Each scene and details are considered to be faithful to the story’s or author’s context, the garden and exterior street is also a tranquil place to have a stroll or taking picture. Klook’s voucher is convenient to use and reduce the waiting time at the entrance.
We took the bullet train from Tokyo to Odawara station, rode a train and had a quite long bus ride. The place was a bit far but since it was requested by my kiddos, we opted to see it. Nothing beats the smile on their faces when we reached the Little Prince Museum. We exchanged the voucher in a breeze. Thanks Klook!
I totally adore the place... Everything looks magical to me cause i totally love the book and little prince character. To know more about the history of the book, u should visit the place. They have beautiful garden, theater, informative museum, delicious foods in their cafe and cute souvenirs to take home too. To get here is so easy. If you plan for one day trip, specifically for this place only, u can take a bus from shinjuku station to kawamukai station by odakyu line. Reserved the return tix and time u want to go and back to Tokyo. The town also so peaceful, they have interesting places to visit nearby the museum.
