My very first time doing the southern island hopping, my tour guide is Alan. He’s flexible allowing you to follow him or self explore the island and meet him at the jetty at a stipulated timing. He is also very accommodating ensuring no one is left behind. As my tour group comprises of adults kids and elderly. We even took a small bite in the last station and Alan is attentive to ensure that we are in time to board the ferry back to mainland Singapore as it started to pour In the late afternoon. It’s A Great enjoyable trip to go if you want a trip off the hustle and bustle of city. Extremely love the Lazarus island part, where you can see clearer water on the beach and soft sandy sand.
Surprised to know our Singapore Islands Hopping can be so fun (and tiring too). Our Tour Guide Augustine is sooo friendly and humourous, and provides great service and insights to the trip. 👍🏻 And thanks for all the pre instructions and tips.
We enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend to anyone who wish to explore a different side of Singapore.
We joined a Mandarin tour group led by Jack. He is very knowledgeable about Singapore history and some fun fact. We don’t even realise that we have 64 offshore islands in total! If you are nature lover, fond of butterflies and forest trekking on island, Jack is the best person to bring you to explore. He is also a good photographer for couple.
It was our first time being on a yacht and it was a fun & nice experience. You may want to opt for the sunset cruise as the view is really nice. Our guide JJ Wong helped us took lots of beautiful photo and she make sure that all of us is well taken care of. We got to know more about the islands around Singapore as well too.
Because to the pandemic, Singaporeans get to know our southern islands better. Love the ferry rides. Especially the morning ride, we went up for the open air deck (below is air conditioned), feeling the cool breeze with Singapore sea view. The islands are beautiful... Lazarus beach is a must visit for all. Time travel to Langkawi/Phuket. Sea water is transparent, pretty greenish blue hue, tiny fishes swim around our half submerged feet. Watch out for the cute monkeys at Kusu island, we saw two at the Malay shrine. Do climb up the stairs to visit. Overall, highly recommended. Please bring along sunblock and also insect repellent. Maybe a set of clothes to change too (after swimming/water activities etc). We definitely enjoyed ourselves for this trip, especially with the friendly and knowledgeable bilingual tour guide Jack Zhao, he takes beautiful and artistic photos for us. A good tour guide is essential for any tour. And oh, if you prefer lesser crowd, do visit during weekdays instead.
My family had a great time on this yacht trip with our fantastic guide Roger, together with the captain and skipper. Everyone was really friendly.
Roger made the trip extra special, his tour was insightful & entertaining. It was a good escape from Singapore, rather well-paced and good for the elderly to explore islands beyond just St John’s and Lazarus.
We went to Kia island, which was a close walk as the yacht docked nearby. They even prepared burgers, water and a mat for us.
Sunset was extremely beautiful especially from the head of the yacht and when we ended our day at One Marina. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
