very well planned trip. there was toilet/souvenir stops every 1+ hr which break up the ride nicely so you wont feel the long 3 hr ride to n fro. lunch was gd with option to change to oyako don if u dont take sashimi and bbq pork if u dun take bby beef. sand dune was beautiful n could be 15 mins longer as compared to sculpture museum. lovely experience peelg n eatg pear in the orchard. 1 is more than enough due to big size n was very juicy.

Solo traveller. I was the last one the bus as i was late. It was a little confusing because there were so many buses, some even going other places so arrive to the pickup point way early as there are no refunds if u miss the bus! My tour guide was super friendly and helpful as im travelling alone and could only converse in english. During the journey in the bus, do catch the views u will see outside of the window(i sat on the left), it was a shame as most people were sleeping. Sand musuem was the first stop for us, tour guide cut down on the time to explore as we were in the traffic jam earlier. I didnt mind as there wasnt much to see in the museum, having more time for sand dunes. We were asked if we have any food restrictions like no sashimi, vegetarian etc. Tottori beef was amazing. Time is short, eat fast to enjoy time for sand dunes, free and easy. Come back to the bus punctual to not miss the next timing for the cruise. Finally we went pear picking, we get to sit down and eat the pear we picked. It was a good change of pace. We made a pitstop for sourveniors/toilet break before heading back. Overall, you wont regret this day trip if you like scenic places, worth the heat and all the walking.

Great experience. Couple of things to consider. First, check the weather in Tottori ahead, you’ll enjoy the sand dunes more when it’s not raining. Second, make sure to be early at your meeting place, the seat arrangement was not followed during our tour and we had the bear the smell of the person in front of us - no wonder no one was sitting there. I hope the guide will not allow funny smelling food to be eaten inside the bus. Overall, my husband and I had fun and took away a great memory and photos too!

Tottori is quite far away from osaka so its really worth since its hard to get there yourself. The cruise was okay. Enjoyed the sand dune more tho its really big and quite tiring. Lunch is just decent. Suggest to quickly eat and explore the sand dunes. Pear farm was great the pear was really big and juicy. The guide was very nice as well!

SO SO SOO WORTH IT! IT’S AN ACTIVITY THAT YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT WHEN YOU’RE IN JAPAN. THE TOUR GUIDE (FORGOT HER NAME) WAS REALLY APPROACHABLE AND FRIENDLY :) THE TIME DURATION FOR EACH ACTIVITY WAS ALSO SUFFICIENT. BAD SIDE TO THIS WAS IT WAS RAINING ON THE TOUR DAY, JUST FELT A LIL TROUBLESOME TO CARRY AROUND THE UMBRELLA AT THE SAND DUNES :(

The trip was very impressive. The guide was very good and care about us. She always explain about the place that we’re gonna see in both of English and Chinese. Today is Tanabata day, so she let us write wishes on the papers and hang on branch of bamboo. I really like it. Luckily, the scenery and weather were very good. The lunch was very tasty. Fish and beef were delicious. They also had option for who cannot eat raw fish.
