Yogyakarta Jomblang Cave and river tubing experience at Pindul Cave were indescribable experience , you have to feel it by yourself . Jomblang Cave gave the true experience when you hike a cave wearing all the boots and equipment. You can use your phone torchlight or bring a torchlight separately. Pindul Cave you are recommended to bring waterproof camera or you can hire a camera man there who provide unlimited photos and few videos. Swimming 1km plus at the river was fun and tiring .

Booked this activity together with my friends. It was a pretty interesting experience. We had a really nice driver who could speak English quite well. He was really friendly and helpful. He even bought for us some vitamins along the way. For Jomblang cave, there were quite a bit of waiting but it wasn’t an issue. Really appreciate the villagers who were there to pull us up (there were probably more than 10!). The Pindul Cave and river tubing experience was quite enjoyable as well. Even though we were just being pulled along, our guide was really interactive and told us about the various landforms around. Would recommend this if you’re in Yogyakarta!

Pick up was prompt and efficient. Recommend to bring along some snacks or light bites as the lunch provided after Jomblang cave may not be to your liking. Option to bring along a shower cap and some wet wipes as well as the safety helmets and harnesses are not really washed before next use. Also, would recommend to wear tops with sleeves and bottoms with knee length minimum. Life jacket provided for river tubing wasn’t really clean and developed rashes from it. Overall, an experience for city dwellers :)

We had the most amazing time, due it being the rainy season and the conrna virus happening around the world, the tour still happened. We needed up having a private tour in the cave and with the tubing. The guides were great and were informative. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon, it was the most amazing time! Our personalize driver was wonderful, he spoke excellent english, and know so much about the history and culture of indonesia and the city of the Yajarkarta.

The jomblang cave is truly eye opening. Quite mystical. However must bring along headlight/torchlight as it is very dark inside. Klook suggested shower cap which is extremely thoughtful because the helmet is really smelly! Due to rain, the tubing was cut short but the guide was entertaining enough. As I went alone, I joined with another group upon arrival which was also fun

Very muddy and mushy in the cave but t’was a good experience! No torchlight provided so you gotta just follow the ray of light from the guide’s one and only torchlight. Before you advance to the cave, you will be manually lowered down with the assistance of harnesses and whatnot from the top of the hill (about 10 storeys high) Boots are provided but bring high socks (higher than soccer boots socks) for extra comfort and hygiene. Wear slippers for a fuss-free change of footwear. But “kiap” your slippers tight during tubing else they may just float away. Nothing strenuous for tubing - basically floating along the lazy river.
