Highly recommended wet market tour and cooking class!
we had an enjoyable morning wet market tour together with the chef. she explain to us very detail on each ingredients.
During the cooking class she explain step by step for us to follow and also explain every ingredients she used and what other ingredients we can use for our dishes.
Every of the participants are entitled for a free dessert - passionfruit custard

The class with morning market tour was amazing as Ms Li introduced the produce and Vietnamese herbs in detailed and easy to understand! In the class, she also explain the cooking method in systematic way and we cooked 1 appetiser, salad and noodle! The taste was good! But only one minor thing is, the knives are blunt and it could be better as we are having difficulties to cut the vege. Highly recommended to join this tour and my mom enjoyed it a lot! The recipes received were very presentable!
Well organized class at a nice venue. We were put on the patio outside with a fan since the room inside was overbooked. It was fine, though it got a bit hot when using the wok. Teacher was nice and helpful especially with my 11 year old son. Food was great quality and delicious. Was stuffed to the gills. We left with a lovely set of recipes to try at home. Very happy we did this class!
Market Tour was alright, but I did learn more about the different produce that can be found in Vietnam. I would have also preferred the class to be more hands-on, meaning more chopping or cutting. Also, if the kitchen space was slightly bigger, it would be easier and safer to move around. Instructor was friendly and knowledgable, and she is willing to share more cooking tips and tricks with you when you ask. Overall a great cooking experience!
Very fun and memorable experience. Start with chef introduces us all kinds of Vietnamese produces in world famous Ben Than Market. Local useful tips on buying things in The market.
After market tour, taxi was arranged to cooking class and we had lot of fun prepared our own food. It’s easy even you are first timer. Wine paring is optional with extra dollars.

Before we started, I was afraid that I won’t be able to eat anything I cook in the class because my allergy acted up a few days before the class. Fortunately Hoa Tuc and Chef Ly are very accommodating. They changed the dishes that I have to cook so I was able to cook and eat the Vietnamese dishes without worry. 💜💜💜
