Unexpectedly great! Beautiful sunset, wide stretch of beach. Must do- walk to the end of the boardwalk, take off your shoes and walk on the beach. Enjoy the sight of water being blown over the beach giving a rippling effect. Expect very windy conditions. As the sun sets, it'll get cold really fast. Make sure to wear clothes that keep you warm. And top to all with a windbreaker.
Mr Chang is a very nice and helpful driver who shared with us alot of information about driving around Taiwan as we were driving to Cingjing. The trip would be wonderful if the weather wasn't cloudy but nonetheless, it is a nice experience to walk on the Wetland to see the crabs and take photo. If you are going to taka off shoes to walk on the Wetland, just take note to bring extra towel to dry your feet after washing.
The driver is quite polite, friendly and very responsibly and reachable. The place is beautiful, he let us take our time to explore and told us where is the best part of the place.
After the tour, he brought us back to hotel directly and get some yummy Tai-Yang cake. Great tour overall! The minibus has great and comfortable seats!
Driver was really nice and friendly. We reached the wetlands around 4pm and stayed for around 1 hour. Wind was really strong! After which driver brought us to try some 太阳饼 (I don't think this is part of the tour) before dropping us off at Feng Chia night market. Overall recommended as you get transport to the wetlands and to night market!
It was just me and my husband during the tour, no other tourists. The car was nice and comfortable. It was a weekend so we had to take another bus to reach the park, but we don’t mind. Mr. Chang was awesome!!! He was friendly and conversational. We saw each other again after a couple of days and he still remembered us. He also took us to a pastry shop the sold the CHEAPEST and YUMMIEST cheese sun cake in all Taiwan!!
This is a museum you should not miss. If you like art and sculpture, this is a destination sure to interest you. They showcase both traditional wood sculpture as well as contemporary wood sculpture. All the various forms from architectural sculptures of building panels, doors, to boats and furniture and some very interesting modern ones. No photographs are allowed, but you are welcome to bring in your sketchbook to sketch some of the more memorable ones!
