About the event

Terrible Baby, Eaton HK’s flagship bar, will launch a brand-new weekly live music series in the Music Room at Terrible Baby starting Thursday, October 23. Every Thursday night at 8pm, the Music Room transforms into an intimate haven for music lovers, a place where the sound is raw and the lights are low. Each week will bring a rotating lineup of live acts and bands, paired with a limited-edition cocktail menu inspired by timeless songs that shaped generations.

From rock and funk to jazz and folk, each session will feature musicians performing a mix of originals and reimagined covers in Terrible Baby’s living room-style Music Room. Outfitted with the highest-quality sound equipment, the Music Room delivers a polished, professional live music experience in an irreplicable home lounge setting. Known as one of the city’s most coveted indie live venues, the intimate Music Room has become a safe space for emerging and established artists alike to experiment, collaborate, and play freely in front of an open-minded audience.

Inspired by the sounds on stage, Terrible Baby’s bar team has composed a cocktail list that hums in harmony with music’s golden eras, each drink paying tribute to a legendary track. Whiskey River (HK$110) nods to Willie Nelson’s 1973 country classic, blending Nikka Whisky From the Barrel, Holzer Original Granit, shiso liqueur, and Perrier for a smoky, steady pour that goes down smoothly. Raspberry Fields Forever (HK$120) takes inspiration from The Beatles’ iconic 1967 track “Strawberry Fields Forever,” remixing the psychedelic classic with Código 1530 blanco tequila, iichiko Saiten shochu, raspberry shrub, citrus, and a bright twist of methyl. How High the Moonshine (HK$130) riffs on the jazz standard “How High the Moon,” layering Apple Pie Moonshine, Amari blend, and bitters into a warm, slow-building finish that lingers like the final note of a horn. Finally, Gin Bottle Blues (HK$130) brings a softer melancholy with Generous gin, citrus-infused Lillet, and lychee liqueur stirred into something smooth enough to sing along to.

A small menu of bar snacks will also be available throughout the night, including Tom Yum Croquettes (HK$138), Halloumi Fries (HK$148), Mini Bamboo Charcoal Cheeseburgers (HK$168), and the TB Special Platter (HK$208).

With its new weekly sessions, Terrible Baby invites music lovers and free spirits alike to sink into the groove.

About Terrible Baby

Terrible Baby is Eaton HK’s flagship bar and performance space.

Terrible Baby's unusual name is a literal translation of the French phrase ‘L’Enfant Terrible.’ It refers to a group of young, passionate and fearless creatives who take inspiration from the Dadaist art movement. They are talented yet non-conformists; innovative and unorthodox who enjoy taking risks and being daring. Terribly Baby embodies the thought-provoking and rebellious characteristics of this boundary-pushing faction of ambitious youths.

Located on the 4th floor of Eaton HK, Terrible Baby is accessible from Pak Hoi Street via a dedicated neon-lit escalator, or the hotel’s retro glass elevators which provide a glimpse into the thriving scene as they move between floors. The space boasts a lush outdoor terrace that looks out over some of Jordan’s most iconic buildings, a Music Room, Gallery Room and access to Eaton House co-working space.

Terrible Baby is unlike any other hotel bar. As well as a key outlet within Eaton HK, it is a destination venue for the neighborhood’s thriving creative scene and those seeking a refreshing cultural experience from further afield.

With music at the heart of the Terrible Baby experience, guests can expect a diverse schedule of both local and international live sets on a weekly basis.
