URBAN MANOUCHE | The Jazz Loft | Concert Introduction

The project Urban Manouche was initiated as a collaboration between guitarist Alvin Wong and multi-instrumentalist/composer Karen de Silva.

The repertoire pays tribute to the La Pompe traditions of gypsy jazz, while also featuring re-workings and arrangements of the traditional, and originals which reflect Alvin and Karen’s contemporary reimaginations of this genre.
