June hits different! we glide through yellow flower fields on the Ganghwa mega luge. Lunch stop at Songwol-dong Village. Quick detour to Sinpo Market (good to skip unless you’re into wet markets) Feeding seagulls on the ferry, so chaotic fun prawn crackers gone in seconds! Wrapped up with a great exercise , a scenic 40-min ride on the Yeongjong seaside rail bike totally different vibe from Gapyeong and we loved it! There’s a photographer here at Gapyeong who captures very good photos too. Big thanks to our guide Rachel for being so thoughtful & informative. (PS-A flag would be super helpful for guides in big group tours to spot them easily!)

The tour operator was great. Thanks again to Dennis (tour guide) and our Korean Driver for accomodating our requests. Mr. Andrew answered all lf my queries clearly and everything was good. All of them were all nice and patient.

PLK was very communicative when our boat voyage portion was canceled and the quickly offered an alternative (suspension bridge). We still enjoyed the tour nonetheless and our tour guide Paul made the experience worth it! He weaved in personal anecdotes, jokes, and history smoothly, while allowing us adequate time at each stop. We never felt rushed and always had time for pictures and the restroom. Food was great as well! Thank you for the amazing experience. Highly recommend! Thank you again and go team Paul!!

We had an amazing time on the tour! Our guide, Nancy, was super friendly and helpful. She had really great stories and insight throughout the day. We had rainy weather in the morning but Nancy rearranged the trip so that we could see the observatory when it was sunnier. The food in the Unification Village was great and really cheap too for all you can eat ($8). We also had the opportunity to ride the gondola and it was only $7. I'm really glad that we booked the tour and Nancy was the best guide that we could ask for. I would highly recommend it.

Jay was our tour guide today for the DMZ tour. She was amazing, funny and very informative, I highly recommend this tour and her as a guide. She kept us on time, was very communicative prior to and during the tour. The tour does start early, but we got to most places before the crowds showed up. I recommend comfy shoes and workout gear during the warm weather months as this is a moderately physical tour for regular clothing. There was very little time for boredom on this tour, we traveled to many different locations, and even had lunch in one of the unification villages. Thanks PLK and thanks Jay!

Cole was a great guide and told us a lot about the Korean history, as well as explaining major landmarks we crossed on the way there. Everything was well organized, the driver was super friendly and the group very nice to travel with. That being said, there is an ethical standpoint here that I did not consider until we were there, that being this slightly unsettling feeling of cosily sitting in this Starbucks staring over at one of the poorest countries with some of the most abused people in the world... something about that just didn't sit right. While it was worth the experience, next time, I'd book the regular tour and hope to learn more about the two countries and their history along the way. All in all, still, with the photo exhibition that we could visit and all, it was a great and educating trip.
