Hotels near Zaanse Schans

It was literally a hotel like something out of a fairy tale. They were happy to provide an early check-in without hesitation, and although I requested two single beds, I was assigned a room with three beds, so I was able to relax very comfortably. Thanks to the rotating TV, I could watch comfortably from anywhere, and the swimming pool and sauna in the facilities were a comfort to my tired trip. The location was also excellent in every way, right in front of the train station.

I arrived in the morning and was able to check in right away. It was a clean and convenient hotel, very close to the station!

I booked this hotel near Zaandam Station, a 15-minute train ride from Amsterdam, because hotel prices in Amsterdam were outrageously high. It was the right decision. Moving around the city with heavy suitcases on cobblestone streets or on cramped trams would have been a nightmare. The building itself is cute enough to be a tourist attraction, and the inside is modern, clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. There's also a HEMA (a popular store for general merchandise) and a Primark (like a British version of Uniqlo) nearby, so I enjoyed shopping too.

The hotel rooms are clean, and the exterior is definitely a popular spot for taking photos. There are many shops nearby, as well as a supermarket, making shopping convenient. There are also several restaurants within walking distance to choose from.

The hotel is close to the subway station exit, but this time it's a road trip, so if you want to park, you have to book online in advance, otherwise you won't be able to enter the parking lot gate because there's no ticket system and no security guard, so you'll have no one to turn to for help. The area around the hotel is like a small community. Across the street there's a McDonald's that charges ₩2300, a supermarket, and a drugstore. At first, the surrounding environment felt a bit messy, but after staying for 2 nights, it felt okay. The hotel lobby is very small, and the staff's attitude is good. When we asked them for the location of the supermarket, they even told us that the one a little further away, a 3-minute walk, would be cheaper. The hotel room space is quite large, the toilet has no peculiar smell, and there is a standing shower and a bathtub.

The location is excellent, with a supermarket and shopping mall nearby, and very close to the subway station. It's only 2 stops to Central Station. The room is clean and spacious. The only issue is the water pressure; even when you turn on the cold water, boiling water comes out, making it impossible to wash your hands. The shower water temperature fluctuates wildly between extremely hot and cold. I didn't eat breakfast as there were very few options, and it was overpriced.

The hotel itself is good, amsterdamy vibe, comfortable stay and nice service. But be prepared for an extra city tax that's not included in the Klook rate. It would have been better if klook/ hotel informed the guests ahead, as in other hotels I stayed at in Amsterdam way back 20211 didn't have to pay. Thank you. hotel location:
