We made a reservation for 7:15pm. We left River Wonder at 7pm and lined up to board the Night Safari tram. It seems like you can get in even if you go earlier than the scheduled time. We scanned the QR code for the 9:30pm show at 8:20pm and made a reservation, had dinner, watched the show and then went home. We didn't walk around because our children were small, but if you have the energy it would have been fun to walk around. My daughter got bitten by an insect so it would have been nice to have some insect repellent.

The environment is well maintained and you will see unexpected animals. The children like it very much and have a lot of fun.
