Got a whole new appreciation for the effort the folks at weta put into their art work.
Our guide was also a veteran in the art and worked on multiple films. You can sense the passion in what he does from just how he talks about the movies, his works, weta in general.
There were like 2-3 babies in my group who started to make some noise along the way but weren't too much a distraction.

Great experience! After the tour, I stayed two more hours visiting the museum. It's an incredible place with so much information. If you come to Wellington, it has to be on your list.

This was an amazing experience, a small tour of eight people and a great guide and driver. The visit of all the locations for the shootings of the Lord of the Rings movies was fantastic, close and personal. The Weta workshop is a wonderful place, full of mysteries and amazing things to see (an touch!), with a nice staff. The lunch experience, a buffet at the Aston Norwood café in a pretty venue was the cherry on the top of the cake. I completely recommend this tour with WTG!

Mike, our tour guide, provided great customer service and had excellent communication with his customers. The location was perfect for a "kaiaki" brunch, and the tour was excellent, filled with his great humor, stories, and most of all, his knowledgeable storytelling about Wellington. Definitely recommended.

Michael who is our guide for the day delivered great service, great knowledge of Wellington, enterained us throughout the trip and the tour was with great ease. Hightly recommended the tour when you visit Welilngton.

What an awesome experience, way more than we bargained for. Our guide Natalie was awesome, keeping us informed and entertained throughout. Seeing the seals (there would have been more than a 100) in their natural setting of rugged coast was such a treat. We also had other highlights such as the short walk through the native Otari Wilton , the spectacular scenery (we could even see the South Island). Thanks this was a most memorable experience.

Very nice experience going to different breweries and trying out the local beer! Our favourite was the Kereru Brewery!

We chose a hotel near the pier and quite close to the city center in order to take this cruise. The cruise staff was very good and provided us with a lot of convenience, from exchanging paper tickets to checking luggage to having a shuttle bus from the Picton Pier to the Picton train station after disembarking from the cruise, which was very convenient. We saw many interesting fish in the sea throughout the trip. The food on board was also good. My companion bought lunch and said it was delicious and more cost-effective than restaurants in the city. This was a pleasant ferry experience across the Marlborough Sounds.
