City Airport Train Vienna Airport - City Center Express Ticket

the train is only once every thirty minutes so it might seem like so few times that you have to wait for a long time between trains but it’s never been a problem. it’s so close to the city and quick clean easy. Klook makes it easy to get the voucher and the QR code is scanned on board by the train conductor. I bought a one way from the airport to the city. the voucher was for the reverse direction but no worries. it worked in the opposite direction than listed as well so didn’t have to stress about that. Will ride again. very very easy and highly recommend.

I think the price is a matter of opinion, and it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s cheaper. Buying tickets before departure is nothing more than convenience and peace of mind. It saves you the trouble after arrival due to possible ticket vending machine malfunctions, long queues, language problems, or other unforeseen circumstances. For foreseeable situations, other parts are planned in a very humane way, with intuitive design and eye-catching colors. If there is an opportunity in the future, I will still buy tickets from this station, and there is no need to redeem them and they can be used directly.

CAT runs directly from Mitte Station to Vienna International Airport every half hour. Because it does not stop at other stations in between, it only takes about 16 minutes to get to the airport! After purchasing, you will receive the QR code directly on your mobile phone. Just show it to the ticket inspector when you encounter it.

It was so convenient booking tickets in advance on Koolook for KE937 from Incheon Airport, departing at 10:25 and arriving at 16:20. Flughafen Wien Train Station Platform 3 ㅡ> Wien Mitte (Get off at Wien Mitte) Towards the city center. The signs are clear, and best of all, it only takes 16 minutes. U3 U4 Near St. Stephen's Cathedral and Belvedere. I got off at Stephansplatz station. I highly recommend the airport express. No need to print tickets, just show the QR code from the app to the staff for verification. U3 is the subway, but in countries like London and Vienna, they use a capital U from "Underground.")

We first printed out the tickets in Taiwan, and when we got on the train, after we put our luggage away and took our seats, the train staff came out to check the tickets in person, and we arrived in downtown Vienna very quickly.

The train is efficient and clean, and is a double deck train with spacious seating area, but if you are traveling with heavy luggage will suggest to take the lower deck as the stairs are not easy to climb. The train station in Vienna city is also very convenient and the mall connects to the station has good places to stop and eat

The process from purchase to installation on Vienna’s IVIE app was seamless. follow the instruction to install and add your city card on the app. remember to utilise the Vienna City Card discount at most of the tourist attractions.
